  • The best food at Haneda airport by far and a must eat for all ramen fans traveling through Haneda. Rokurinsha has an outlet at Haneda airport, bringing their awesome seafood-pork (tonkotsu-gyokai) tsukemen with them from Tokyo Station. If you love ramen and you don’t make a stop here when you fly out from Haneda, you’re making a big mistake. This is probably the best ramen at Haneda airport.

There is another famous ramen store called Sendagaya in Haneda airport. However I would pick Rokurinsha instead as the normal wait at Rokurinsha in Tokyo station is usually quite long.
You can find Rokurinsha in the international terminal behind the security and passport checks in the food court. Sendagaya ramen can be found close to the check in of ANA, just up the stairs. You cannot access this one anymore once you are through security.
Honesty you’re not going wrong with either ramen choice here. Both are top notch ramen restaurants that won’t charge you ridiculous airport prices.

Ramen on the go again as I’m traveling outside of Japan. Hope you still enjoy this less sophisticated ramen video, soon I’m back to my regular editing tools. Let me know in the comments if you enjoy these kinds of simple videos or if I should stick to the more sophisticated ones.

Looks like an amazing bowl of ramen! Reminds me of “Mind of a Chef” with David Chang back in the day on Netflix man when him and peter went to The one at the Tokyo train station! Using their words sounds like an “insane” bowl of ramen! Did you ever see mind of a chef that episode man?! How does the Tokyo station where it’s fresh compare to Tomita ramen in your opinion! Next time you try Tomita you must try the whole pork sampler plate with it like in Mikes video! Awesome stuff! I can’t wait to have ramen in Japan someday, never been!

Hey Richard, I think Tomita is worlds better than the one in Tokyo station (called Rokurinsha). It’s truly a one of a kind experience beyond just the taste of the ramen.

Looks good. Next time I go to Japan, I must try more tsukemen. I did have an interesting curry tsukemen in Halal Ramen Taizan Sakura in Asakusa, quite tasty and a bit different.

On a road trip to the EU again? I'd be interested in which part. I bet there are a number of regional sausages, beer & other great food in local & rural towns in Germany. I've tried other German beer here in the States, but none has impressed me so far, as all the good ones are usually sold in their homelands and don't get exported overseas.
I miss arriving at Haneda; it's been a year & a half since my last visit. I usually stop at Tsurutontan Udon at Haneda (and other towns in Tokyo), but once I'm out of the airport I'll give it a try at Rokurinsha ramen the next time I visit Japan. I used to live in Yokohama, and I now stay at a hotel there.
Your standards for ramen noodles are way too high; higher than many Japanese people.

JPN850R I am mainly in Germany, but I’m realizing that I don’t really have too much time to film this time. Busy busy! But maybe on my way back.

Another store might be Setaga-ya. their store located around Tokyo area, and each store has original seasoning menu. that's also another fun thing about popular ramen store.

Setagaya is available at Haneda, but outside of the security gate. So you should bring some additional time, to avoid any trouble of getting to late to your gate.

Nah. It's not quite the same as the Tokyo station branch but beggars can't be choosers. I admit I've eaten there many times.

It is still the best airport food, hands down!
