the music u used is the most terrifying at night. There is like background noise that freaked me out. HAHAAHHA I stoped multiple time the video and rewinded to be sure it was in the music and not my house. omg
Halfway through the video I forgot about the ducks and got really excited because I thought there were birds outside my window, got up, took off my headphones, and the bird noise ceased to be. I am a fool and I love the ducks I love seeing your process so much, it's so inspiring! Makes me wanna jump in and draw along. The experimentation and the "please don't, please don't, please don't" is so real. Seeing the evolution and reworking of that drawing was so cool. I love your style!!!
Thank you so much!! This was such a nice comment to wake up to ❤❤ I'm sorry the ducks tricked you but that's honestly so funny 😂 I'm really glad you enjoyed the process!! It's always so difficult to make "big" decisions when making art, especially on camera, but comments like yours always really help 🥺🥰🥰
The ducks were literally so aesthetic to listen to, I would have believed you added them in post LOL and I related to the sketchbook page struggles while listening and watching this!! I was fighting with my gouache and it was nice being able to turn and see, oh look, we're suffering together LOL but these pages came out great!!!
😂 I wish I'd added them after. So many times they wanted to show off just how loud they could get🤣 I hope your gouache worked out!!! That stuff can be so difficult to work with 👍❤
I love your art! And it's really nice that you show all of your mistakes, because it might help people to avoid being afraid of making mistakes in their sketchbooks or always cover the "wrong" sketches with stickers
I appreciate you saying that ❤ I do find I want to cover them sometimes (and sometimes I do) but I've been trying to remember that my sketchbook doesn't HAVE to be perfect. On the other hand though, there's nothing wrong with wanting to cover up or rip out things you don't like, especially if it's been holding you back from making any more art ❤❤
I stumbled across your channel by chance, and your art style and coloring are to die for. I know someone already said he reminds them of Custer from NATM 2. But he is absolutely making me think of Theuden and his A+ outfits from Heir's Game.
is it me or does the cowboy oc remind me of General George Armstrong Custer from Night at The Museum 2. Its mainly the look lol 🤣 none the less it looks amazing😍🤩
Oh my gosh oh my gosh I found you recently and I'm in love with your art!!! I really like this video! I never considered using a marker as a liner as well, if that makes sense...? But this video, THIS VIDEO, I loved what you did here. Your linework is very confident and your color choices seem so natural! Gorgeous work!!😍
The ease in which you markered that cowboy the paper had me like……… hmmm 🤔 me thinks I can do that😅……… then I instantly remembered drawing men is not my strong point. 🤣🤣 I love the spread mistakes and all. The duckies just added more charm💕💕 🐣🦆
Definitely soon! Things are a little hectic for me right now as I have a couple more Collab vids that will need to be done first, but I'm hoping I'll have the next one out either by the end of next month or beginning of July 😊
I personally prefer the Brush nib. You can get the finer details by pressing lightly and then easily cover a slightly bigger area by pushing harder (although because the nib is quite soft it can sometimes be dificult to keep a consistent line thickness). I find the Chisel nib can be quite tricky to use because it's solid and in a shape I don't often find myself needing. However it can be really handy for colouring a large area that doesn't need too much precision. It depends on what you prefer or what kind of art you're doing. I can see the chisel nib being really handy for drawing in harsh shapes/lines and just to get a general idea down on paper.
Thank you ❤ I personally find that characters can look younger than I mean them to if they have slightly bigger ears or thinner necks. Changing those things help me a lot. Same with eyes, big eyes can make someone look younger ☺
This video is my favorite thing in this world, though i feel like the music is a lil distracting, if you lose it or turn it down in the future it would be perfect. You’re art is so beautiful🤍✨
I was worried it might be 😬I like having something in the background so there isn't long awkward silences but I'll admit I wanted it a little louder in this one to cover up the birds in the background (people have been really nice and saying they like the bird noises, but it's honestly kind of grating 😅) I went too far and made it too loud though😂sorry 🙏
Giveaway is over!! Thank you to everyone who joined ❤❤
I feel like Clay needs a partner named Rock 😂
Well now I wanna do that 😂
Then there should be a girl one named jem
Came for the art. Stayed for the ducks. Subscribed for the good content!
TRUE!!

Not gonna lie I loved the ducks in the background they’re so cute
The more you worked it the more i loved if. I loved the stylized smoke and how they transitioned into clouds. Amazing.

This spread looks so cool! I LOVE those pastel colour pieces 😍

@@staticwool BAHAHA IM SO SORRY 🤣🤣🤣
I feel a sense of relaxation and contentment while watching this video. It's so soothing.
I'm really glad, I was worried the duckies would be too annoying in the background 😅

Thats so beautiful to watch...
I'm new here I love your art style and colors you us it looks amazing ❤❤❤
Love me some cowboys. Yeehaw 🤠
Love the process of your sketches, what brand of pencil are you using for the sketches? I love how brightly colored they are
They're Faber-Castell 😊
Which one is better for a beginner artist: chisel nip or brush nip ?
I personally prefer the Brush nib. You can get the finer details by pressing lightly and then easily cover a slightly bigger area by pushing harder (although because the nib is quite soft it can sometimes be dificult to keep a consistent line thickness). I find the Chisel nib can be quite tricky to use because it's solid and in a shape I don't often find myself needing. @@staticwool thank you❤️
i really love your artstyle :D Do you have any tips for stylizing people like that? Cause when i try it they always look weirdly young
