    Thanks for the review but maybe you didn’t realize that after using them putting them back in the case, they don’t want to disconnect from Bluetooth and this is so annoying because you know they won’t have charge the next time you wanna use them. Don’t even get me started on both of them connecting to the phone or getting both of them to charge. I wish Apple could just refund my money because this is a fail.

      @@Itz_purpz Im actually wearing one on my left ear right now, while listening to lo-fi music and working! hahaha I LOVE these things! The sound is great for what it is and the battery is awesome! Having the rechargeable battery case with it helps prolong the battery life soooo much. My ONLY issue is that if I have them on for too long, it does start to hurt my ear. And by "too long" I mean like 5 hours straight. Which ive done while working.
      But all I do is remove the left and pop in the right and boom - fresh new ear bud with 100% juice and no pain in my ear.

    I’ve had these Powerbeats since July of 2019 and honestly i’m a little disappointed.
    They have a major problem that rarely anyone seems to discuss and it’s the inconsistent battery life. About 2 months ago, I recently came across this problem, where my Powerbeats Pro would both charge to 100%, but after about 40 mins to an hour of use, my right earphone dies automatically. I put it back into the charging case and suddenly it has 70% battery life left. Same outcome, dies after 40 mins of use even though it still has supposedly 65%. Nothing works to fix this and i’m out of the warranty period. After browsing through countless forums and reading similar experiences, no one has a solution, so if you end up encountering this problem, you’re basically fucked.
    There have been other annoying problems such as one earphone connecting while the other one has this god awful static noise, but that’s fixable.

      I have the same problem with no fix, my right ear lasts about 27 minutes and the left maybe 40 min., plug it back in the case and like you mentioned above and it still shows decent battery life. Likes: the original 9 hour battery life, physical buttons on each ear bud, I found them comfortable since standard Apple earbuds fall out of my ear. I may try the airports pro because of the tips. I don”t want to replace these knowing that it will likely happen again .

    I feel like it all comes down to what you use them for... physical work or working out your probably going to prefer these but if your only using them for office work then AirPods are probably more for you.
    Also you don’t have to take them all the way out to talk to ppl just simply pull it out and let them hang or just twist them a bit.

    To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

      They should work fine with android but you will have to pair as normal, you won't get fast pairing via H1 chip. On iOS you do get battery level per earpiece but I'm not sure about android. Power beats pro don't have any ANC all you can change is what the centre button does on each earpiece, pause, skip etc and that may be an iOS feature only.

    I’m so unsure on whether to get these. I do a lot of sprinting and running so that’s pretty much all I would use them for. I’ve got the studio 3s which I would prefer to use for casual use. However what you’ve said about connectivity issues and fit is putting me off? I’ve got small ears and don’t tend to like in ear headphones as they never feel snug and comfortable? Do you have any recommendations for wireless headphones with solid fit and good bass and sound? Sorry for the long para

      I used to run in Bose® SoundTrue™ around-ear headphones which were light weight and sounded good but they are not wireless and no longer available, but may be worth checking out some of the newer Bose. I now run exclusively with AirPods 2nd gen, not Pro and for me they work great. The only other thing you could try is bone conducting ones UK: amzn.to/32XdRyx US: amzn.to/2KkxzOc You won't get great sound quality though.

      I'm sure I would have got used to it but I just overall found they weren't as convenient as AirPods. Thats the reason they are so popular, they aren't necessarily the best but they are the most convenient.

    I had them for about a year. I don't have an iPhone. And I can confidently say these are the worst experience I had with bluetooth earbuds. The case is flimsy. The connection is janky. Sometimes the don't connect. MOST times they don't disconnect even when put in the case. Which means I have to turn bluetooth off on my phone and just let them drain the battery on both the case and buds themselves. The button on the sides don't work the first time. The seal is good but the connection from the tips to the buds themselves is so terrible that they ALWAYS are left in my ears when I take the buds out. There is no beep of chime like my old powerbeats that let you know they're on. Soi won't know they're dead until I wasted about 5 minutes trying to connect. Battery life overall is subpar. These were a gift but the person who bought them wasted thier money. If only my dogs didn't chew my galaxy buds up...

    I just got these for my new iphone 12 mini..... frankly the sound quality is pretty "meh" and the bass is just plain horrible! Much cheaper headphones I've used in the past sound better lmao. Seems ALOT of reviews were paid by Apple to falsely praise the apparently high quality sound :/

    Yeah I’m gonna be honest, compared to AirPods Pro, these are straight GARBAGEEEEEEE. For the same price as the AirPods Pro, there’s no noise cancellation OR transparency? The isolation is SOOO BAD. Ill hear everything on the subway. With AirPods Pro? I heard nothing. I changed the tips to try a better seal, THEYRE ALLL BAD. itchy on my ear, or don’t fit well. The only good thing about these beats is that there’s a volume rocker. I’m not a fan of the button for pause play. Pressing it, pushes into your ear. It’s an Overall bad design. The ear hook is decent, but I needed to bend it a lot. They’re just bad earphones all around. Beats stole our money.

    • @chrisguess
      @chrisguess  2 роки тому

      AirPods Pro weren’t out when these were originally released so it may not be a fair comparison. I haven’t tried them but I’m sure I would likely agree with you in terms of features for price. Ultimately I swapped mine for AirPods 2.

    • @chrisguess
      @chrisguess  3 роки тому

      I think I did as long as you are using an iPhone. Edit: No. 2 is pairing - All you do is literally open the case next to the phone and it will pop up in pairing mode. It’s almost impossible not to pair them, you probably have seen it and didn’t realise it was that simple. For android there is a button on the case you can hold down and then it’s in the Bluetooth settings as with any other device.
