@@RBFxJMH He chooses poorly like, every year. Dan doesn't learn, that's why he's doing the puzzle calendar, to embiggen his brain power so that he'll finally learn that if the calendar has a one big thing, then there'll be much less budget for the 23 other things inside.

Today my fancy german chocolate calendar gave me a ball of white chocolate filled with raspberry & wild berry cream. Pretty good, lots of taste but not as overpoweringly sweet as the mango one. Quite liked it.
These two should have the eating calendar for the winner.

If not for the puzzles, it would be something close to 13 or 13-0 in favor of Ashens by now.
The tiemaker weirdly has helped more than they seem to think.
It's going to take a genuine miracle for Dan to actually win even a single day.
To think how different this might have been if Dan had the puzzle calendar as one of his main calendars and the Only Fools calendar was the punishment one.
In an alternate timeline, Dan must answer the trivia questions correctly in order to tie.
Getting nothing would be better than what's in the Only Fools calendar because at least you can say the empty calendar was a mistake what you get in the Only Fools was on purpose.

I'm not sure if it's a thing in the UK, but what Stu hot out of his science calendar appears to be Silly Putty. (Or something of the like.)
In addition to being fun to mold and bounce, if pushed onto a newspaper, it will pick up some of the ink. Leaving you with a reversed copy of the paper.
It is a thing here, I had it anyway, I’m surprised they didn’t know what it was. Maybe because it wasn’t in a plastic egg.

Yesterday was finals and now starting Xmas holidays right with Ashens and Dan getting annoyed at cheap advents.
