So originally the plan was for Roxas and Xion to stay gone but fan demand brought them back. So you can thank the community for this moment. Funnily enough this was revealed in a Q and A about Riku’s haircut of all things, which was also revealed to have been fan demand.
Personally bringing them back makes sense in the fact of the replicas existing. Keeping them dead when they can still get a second chance would make no sense
@@DiademAceI agree. I also think that it makes sense since Sora is the kind of person who wants to save everyone and has high empathy for everyone. It wouldn’t make sense that he didn’t feel the urge to bring Roxas back.
Roxas and xions returns were some of the best moments of kingdom hearts 3 in my opinion. And oh my when the icecream trio reunited the waterworks happened again. So many happy tears at those scenes!
It was so much better playing this on Release day when nobody had spoiled it yet, the power of each turn when you don't know what's going to happen is insane, the reintroduction of Vanitas, Lingering Will coming in for the save, every trio getting reunited for the final battle, it was absolutely insane and amazing
I might be the only person who hated them and Namine coming back. The conclusions to their stories were bittersweet but perfectly fulfilling in KH2. This ruined it.
I wouldn't say it ruined it but the bringing back of characters does have a diminishing return effect after awhile.. creates really low stakes for goodbyes.
It wouldn’t make sense if they stayed away. I’d rather have a happy ending for the characters and them being brought back doesn’t make the bittersweet story in KH2 and in Days disappear. In the end Roxas really wanted to be back with Axel and Xion, not in Sora’s heart. He had no choice. I don’t think it was bittersweet at all, they just had no choice but to accept it at some point. It would make more sense for Sora to want to save everyone instead of just forgetting about them, since he had high level of empathy. KH3 wouldn’t feel complete without all the trio’s reuniting. The impact and bittersweet ending still stays because at the moment we played KH2, 3 wasn’t out yet and it still had a lot of impact at that moment.

I agree. This always bring tear to my eyes. Roxas is probably my favorite character of this series. Hope to see him more in the upcoming games :')
Me too! One of my favorites

Yeah I read that! Pretty awesome.

Kingdom hearts 365/2 days was my first ds game I ever played, seeing roxas come back brings back so much childhood nostalgia
This song is so fitting, I was in tears immediately when Roxas showed up😅
Hit so hard!
I remember when I first saw this scene, I had tears of joy and screamed so loud that my next door neighbor was complaining to me xD
This was def one of my most favorite moments in the entire series.
such an awesome moment
his heart definitely went on
Super late but had the same reaction lol roxas holds a special place in my heart. My dogs name is Roxas and I’ve had him for 10 years man.
Aww dude what a great name for a dog, I may need to borrow that if I ever get another :)
This brought tears in my eyes, however whenever Roxas Axel and Xion had there moment at the end, i was bawling.
Same, Dane..same :(
Kh has been quite an emotional rollercoaster for me as well, I grew up on the series and fell in love with all the characters
Yeah it really was, I lost my dog of 16 years around the time of starting KH3 so I was already pretty emotional 😭
This was more than an appropriate time to tear up and get emotional 💯

like Niagara falls down my face..

Luckily I didn't live in a KH social media vacuum while playing so I missed all the spoilers :)
That roxas 👑 👈

Using this song was a power move and I respect it so, so much!

Lol even Xemnas is like "Aw, crap."

Roxas: my friends are my power and I'm there s
This music surprisingly fits 😅

Roxas Was My Favorite Character.
Might be my favorite as well!
Yeah Everything Will Be Fine
I would fight wars for Roxas
I’d be right next to you
I got some bad news for you guys… Kingdom hearts three was my first kingdom hearts game 😭 so I wasn’t able to understand this😭😭
But you went back and played through the others right??
And somehow…Roxas returns 🤣😊

Soon cute.
Should have stayed gone. Weakens the emotional impact of the best game in the series
