I have a full coilover kit on my truck but the front end is very bouncy how would you suggest i adjust it so that we can reduce that, if i hit a bump cause the tires to rub granted im running 22s but my brothers truck has a belltech kit and hus doesnt bounce as much
Quick question, I look forward to getting one of your kits, most likely the 3/5 drop kit for 2020 Chevrolet Silverado RST 2WD. Would it be possible to maybe adjust the kit to make it a 2/4 drop?
@IHCSUSPENSION I just had a 3/5 kit from DV8DZ9 installed on my '21 super crew (D5 kit w/ Belltech coilovers and these UCAs). after the shop installed and aligned, I had about -1.8 camber on both front wheels. I was told its all "within spec" but figured Id ask if this is normal with 4wd or if I should have it corrected some otherway. still running the factory wheels and tires.
Dude...that's not within spec at all. The service manual for our trucks (non-Raptor and 4x4) says -0.10° ± 0.75 with total/split being 0.0° ± 0.75°. Did they adjust the camber from the UCA's? My guess is they just did all the adjustments through the LCA's because they would had to have removed the UCA's (at least to get the adjustment points out of the pocket) to adjust them which is a bit of a pain in the ass and really isn't typical for alignment shops with this particular vehicle...since most vehicles that have UCA adjustments don't require removal, they just have a bolted swivel adjustment.
Will these work on a 2017 F150 thats lifted 7 inches? Also, will they accept factory ball joint if needed to be serviced in the future? Thanks! Need positive camber adjustment after lift.
So say I install these myself setting the control arms to the recommended length (3/8" for 3" drop) and I take the truck to get aligned, if proper camber spec can't be achieved through the LCA's alone, the UCA's would have to come out just to make adjustments. I wonder if alignment shops would mind doing all that work for a routine alignment...🤔
when adjusting them do you have to unbolt all 3 or just the 2 bolts that hold the control arm to the frame?
Just had 3/5 on my truck ❤🔥 looks good

What keeps the thread from moving in and out during wheel travel?
Great question, the upper control arm has a jam nut. The jam nut must be tighten prior driving the vehicle.
@@ihcsuspension2758just put mine in and the bolt fell off where can i get another bolt?

Yep. These should have been properly so they could be adjusted on the truck.
