I can relate to Sheila’s story. This one evening I was bored on a Friday and went to meet a girl friend of a friend. Found them taking cookies and cocktails and just had a small bit. I was never told that those were drugs. I swear in about 1.15hrs my world had turned upside down. I had to rush home on a jaj. I learnt your first enemy is the trust you give to people regardless of whether it’s a men or woman
I was out with my mum and some guy was acting frndly with us but luckily my mum saw him put pills in our drinks and she told me not to drink it. The guy ran away lol
Girl child protect your self that's the only way and the best way the world is crazy these days trust is costly am married now but i look at what is going on am like the girls of this generation are unlucky some how there's a lot they need to learn to be safe from evil It's even hard for us to make friends so i imagine the young generation where sometimes what you need is friends and having fun
I don't think it was right to kick out her parents in law, I think she could have addressed the situation differently. I am Ugandan and I have west African neighbours, they are big on decent dressing, the mother in law would never have fed such a thought into the lady's mind if she knew thats how she was going to react. Sheila even doubles down to say that she always covered when her grandparents came home and she would go to her room after greeting them and get into her comfortable outfit. Well, come to think of it, and I think this is the very thing the girls grandmother is trying to tell the mother. She only means to teach her the importance of proper dressing, especially around men. That doesn't mean the grand dad is a pedophile, why is that the first thing that came to her mind.
my grandad never ate pork for some reason too, he started eating it recently but my mum still dont eat it, no reason more than that though🤣 he also never ate lamb
So what was the purpose for that person to put stuff in Sheilah's drink if he didn't even use her??? I love Sheilah put that part doesn't make sense to me
In the African culture a gal can not wear shorts and a t-shirt with no bra in the company of men especially her father and grandfather. A 15 year old gal is not a child. She has already developed. It should be an okay thing to do but with grandparents they are old school and that is a culture thing, It's not about safety it is considered respectful to dress decent in the presence of older men who are your relatives.
It’s funny they took a different perspective on the dilemma I never saw the pedophile thing, I think certain cultures are about being modest not because the grandad is a pedo.
I think so too, it's just about decency and we all cover up when the elders are around simply because they are from a different generation. The whole pedophile thing was a bit much.
If going irrelevant was a person! Mulinde are you a poor host or you have all the time in the world! I also think she needs to use her friends to talk, clearly she has no one to talk to
