With changing to a 1800 RPM Low Stall performance stator from the OEM's 2200 RPM stator I hope to see a fuel mileage improvement, which could pay for itself over the next 100k miles as I drive across North America racing superbikes and enjoying dirtbike nomad adventures.
Vehicle currently has 59,900 miles. Knocking started intermittent 4 months earlier in August at 57500 miles. Truck runs and drives great with no smoke once up to temperature.

I just recently changed the torque converter on my 04 gmc lb7.
Used the same flex plate. I used a dmax store brand torque converter to try and save a few bucks.
The ARP flex plate bolts are 100lbs plus 70°
Lot easier to do when laying on the driveway.
Or 210lbs if not using the 100lbs plus 70
Dame that was tuff on me just watching the poor guy torque that up.
Is the tq on that flex plate really like that??? You cant do that at home especially on a c4500 kodiak version.. you would most definitely have to take that to a shop.
those bolts are one time use
Never said the torque value of second 60.
What was the final torque on the flywheel
There is not Teflon tape in oil fittings.. they are certain styles of fitting that have seats or thread designs that don't leak. Also, that's not am oil drain it's a block plug and that is not your oil pump that the filter screws on to lol that's the oil filter housing and oil cooler.. oil pumps are inside engines dawg.

How do you like the stall you got?
It's not really noticeable from stock. I always run tow mode as to not be running higher rpms vs. movement forward
And just to make sure, it was the low stall option? Or the stock stall?
