You explained thag very well! Thank you! I lost my mom in September so im trying to build a prayer garden & a few things and have no idea what im doing & where to even begin on what tools to buy but you were very helpful! As a woman, you even made it clear to us 😂
Thank you for this video! It was super helpful. I’ve been searching for more in-depth information on how to use certain power tools for different projects. For someone who has never used them, it gets pretty intimidating but I appreciate the way your break it down. Keep making videos like this :)
Thanks so much for the video. I have a bit of a problem holding on to things but I still want to do woodwork projects and have been a bit worried about which saw to get. Think I'll go for the miter saw. Thank you!
I'm so happy we could help! Please keep us posted on how your woodworking projects are going. And feel free to let us know if you have any questions as you continue.
Your videos are so helpful. It's too bad you do not post many which bypassing UA-cam equation to get in more feeds. I believe last check 3 a week or every 3 days
I've pretty much given up trying to figure out the algorithm. I make videos for my clients, and because it's fun. Growing the channel is second to my construction business.
I would say it all depends on how thick this piece is. If it's thicker, flip the piece upside down, then you can plunge cut with a circular saw, CAREFUL. If it's thinner, then you can use the multitool. Realistically a multitool would be great for that, but it may take a long time. Let me know how it goes!! Good Luck!
Great job! I need a saw to change my hardwood floors downstairs or change the laminates upstairs. I have a reciprocating saw but that's useless for this type of job. Any recommendations for a diy for one saw to have as a must have? Thanks!
Good Morning! If you are going to be cutting hardwood, then you will need two saws really. One to cut the flooring itself, a miter saw will be easiest to be accurate, but a circular saw will get the job done with the right technique. Use a speed square in conjunction with the circular saw to get nice square cuts. The other saw that will make your life super easy is a multitool to cut the trim around the doors, modify door jambs if you have to, and make intricate cuts around corners etc.. With these two tools, you should be good.
Great video! Straight to the point. Clear explanation on different types of saws without any filler. 👍

Happy to help. Sorry for your loss.

This was great. I'm not sure which part I liked better looking at you or the tools ;-)
I should be flattered, but I'm glad you liked the tools.
This is a great help, I'm off to watch vids on the individual tools!

I’m restoring a very old corner cabinet. I need to cut a triangle to fix the rotted out bottom… what tool would be best?
