Made these tonight! Of course tweaked it a little, added a bit of tomato sauce, it was a hit. I made 1 pan of cheese and 1 pan of chicken, soaked the chicken in some of the sauce and assembled. Great recipe! 👌

These are in my oven now!!I had no idea(I'm an idiot)to soften the tortilla in oil to soften them!!what a difference not one shell broke as I was rolling them,now I'm going to make your chicken taquito's and Mexican rice I'm 💯 %Italian but love love Mexican food!!Thank you sooo much

This time I cooked it all the way and cooked it for a while and it came out delicious. The first sauce I had used New Mexico chili powder and it was super red. The second time I used California and it came out lighter but delicious
Avoid using chilies or chili products from Hatch or most areas in New Mexico. For some reason, most all appears spicier, more picante, aka chiloso. We lived in So. Arizona for over 17 years. Most there, avoid NM chilies.
