Hey Waifu, i just finished re4 OG today for my very first time with 12H playtime
(i got almost every treasure item and died a few times but already learned some glitches and speedrun tactics = Village skip (what you used on your rando race with dante), Fast Mendez, Ditman, Boulder skip, almost double Gigante Skip but my ditman didnt worked for some reason while using the rope thing) and some other things or situation where i just ran through
i messed with the controls until Mendez (when i fought mendez i was unsure if i mess the controls up, but after speedrunning him with fire-nades, i thought that the controls wont mess me up anymore)
ok enough about my experience :P , i want to try to learn the whole speedrun menu and would like to know your controls, because you seem to eliminate all of those problems really effectively and i heard that learning from the best is the best to improve ;)
- the X is awkward to use and the X+C killed me like 8 times on Trying to knife Krauser (he only used QTEs on me and i wasnt really able to knife him)
- the inventory feels unnatural to manage = backspace for shifting things around takes alot of time...
- looking around with the mouse (im on PC) feels a bit strange and is awkward to use on the Novis...
