Man I just love this family! Such a great atmosphere. Buggy really loves her dad - tripping on the ride-on mower, sitting with him while the water tank fills, touching him and still wanting dad-pick ups. Meg so busy with cooking and now her own project of the bees... You have all come so far since you first arrived at the farm... God bless you all and watch over you.
Dang, Brett went and got tall quick and Corbin ain't much behind. Jack getting his hair cut is the only way I can tell him on camera from Tyler. Little Miss plopping down to chat with Ben while the water filled was so Norman Rockwell. And not to leave anyone out Meg is the ray of sunshine we have come to expect as always, down at The Hollar Homestead.
Friday first!!! Buggy asked if daddy was gonna rototill and he said no then he did!! Buggy knew what needed to be done…. She will be the farm foreman keeping all the things in line. Go Buggy!!!❤🎉❤🎉
You are far from a lazy man Ben…but life is a learning curve and you have now just learnt a bit more about your greenhouse choice. As the English say “ keep calm and carry on”.🙏
We got our hoops used from a farmer in New Jersey I believe it was his grandfather who made them. They said they are nearly 100 years old. Then we bought the plastic and a few other things like wiggle wire. But yeah the plastic was one of the most expensive parts! We don't have the roll up contraption, but we may try to give your set up a try. Thanks for the close up of those clips. Buggy is absolutely adorable! 🥰 She is learning so much and it is adorable when she explains to the camera!! ❤️ Your channel is truly my favorite. God bless your family!
I love watching the boys helping Ben, but when it is just him and Buggy tooling around on the mower with her little curls bouncing - just warms my heart!
Buggie is so cute petting Milly kitty in the greenhouse!🐈 Glad the new feeder pig didn't run away and ran back to its pen! Honey racks look good. Dinner sounded delicious, as Meg's cooking always is!! See you Tuesday👋
There are so many awesome Women that have UA-cam channels that are raising 8 children by themselves who are basically homesteaders and homeschooling their Children. Awesome Women some have husbands and some are single. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 For them 😊❤
Ben, when you were explaining your situation when hearing that a pig 🐖 was out, when facing the camera, I swore the you were going to quote Jason of "Sow the Land" saying, "I don't trust no pig!" 🤣
💝Of course Buggy was so cute today! She can play with a cat, and it does not run away! She knows how to hook her sweater to her pants so she will not lose it! Amazing. She sits by her dad and waits for the pig water to fill. Legos are very low on her list of priorities. 😂Your boys were so helpful with the pigs and all it took to get it set up! Fantastic! 🔆Meg is able to produce a wonderful meal anytime it seems. ‼ Ben, please stop telling us about your shortcomings. You are an angel (😇) until you start going over what you have failed to do in your mind! Be our superhero! Heaven knows we can use more of those! 🙃Wonderful video Hollar family! Be looking for you on the next video! ❇❇❇
Next winter you should consider renting a trencher and burying some plastic flex pipe and installing some non freeze water outlets. One big project would save you a lot of time pulling hoses
After Autumn gets done with you.. Winter is a lovely respite. Still... what a blessing to know where your food is comming from... and not be stuck every evening commuting on a 6 lane highway. Life is good. 👍
👧 Bye! 🤗 What is this pig port you’re talking about? Sounds nice! The smell on all the faces as they come in tells it all lol And I just love that painted shed! Looks so nice! My style is hide the ugly 😆
Watching Meg working with her bees is so enjoyable. Buggie sure does like working with daddy. 😊 Congratulations on fall food of piggies. You have to jump on it when a great deal comes along.
My mom had a school bell like that when I was a kid. We could go anywhere we wanted as long as we could still hear the bell ring when she wanted us to come home. Thank you. That moment brought back memories.
So happy y’all got pigs for this fall🤗! Along with getting beef, you guys will be super busy! Little Buggy loves to sit on the ground beside her Papa while watering the Guinea Hogs…so absolutely adorable😘. It’s amazing how much gets done on the homestead day-in and day-out😮. I wish there could be smellavision so we all could partake in the amazing smells from Meg’s cooking💜!
I have been back on the east coast for five months and I still don’t get hungry till 7 8 pm my body is still use to mountain time so I know how it feels
Just an idea/wondering : if you do put the new pigs in with the male guinea hogs, what about instead of giving them run of both pens together, you rotate them all between the pens... ? Unless there'd be too many in one at once, to do that. Just an idea, for letting the soil rest and parasites die and all that good stuff, in the off month or weeks. Buggy is SO adorable. They grow up SO fast... I'm cherishing this time vicariously :) !
Seeing how the Green house caught water makes me wonder if there is a way to do some type of water collection? Maybe some type of open piping that can help collect water that drains to a barrel and the tarp can roll under so the tarp stays dry, or something like that? I'm sure you could come up with a dozen ideas and the kids would think of a few more, LOL. Any excuse to build or mold something 😮
People don't realize how many things in a greenhouse biz are made of petroleum-based products, i.e. the greenhouse poly, the pots and trays, tags, the time-released fertilizer in soil, the liquid fertilizer used through the lines...etc, oh, and fuel for the heaters and trucks...
Ben, I'm betting that you could DIY roller for the sides of your green house. You and Meg are so creative & resourceful and I really enjoy watching you both take on new projects.
Knowing your creative mind...few weeks from now.. ...on today's episode. So I had some extra pipe and bits laying around and I made my own roll up system...
I could write a children's book about this with a little help. I love what bees do....My Izabelle(6 yrs old) we call Bee because her lil bro calls her that. Anyway....so love you ❣️
Oh my gosh 😊 so ironic.... we just got our 1st pair of Tamworth pigs for our place... and looks as you added some Tamworth pigglets... I love them as they are such lauded back attitudes and people friendly. Old UK / Irish breed.
After your mulching video, I began hearing about the super El Niño that’s coming through this winter and a chunk of the country won’t get much rain. Thought of you instantly when you said you just had a feeling. Way to listen. 👍🏼
Thank you for always telling Meg that her efforts are appreciated. 😂
"We don't 'boom' the chickens." ....now there's something you don't hear every day. I had to laugh!
@@conorkilroe 🙄😆😂

Millie RAN up to Buggie for cuddles. That speaks very well of Buggie.
When she said "we don't boom the chickens" all I saw in my mind was a poof of feathers! 😅😅😅
That sweet little farm girl puts a smile on my face with her little "Bye and waves". Blessings 😊🕊♻️💜

Buggie’s riding the mower with Dad, chattering away the whole time…
💝
Aren’t you so Blessed you had that child!
When little Buggy talks it makes your heart melt. She can run the homestead.😂😂. Bye Buggy Awesome video
Buggie stole the show , piggies are cute, the runaway pig story was funny. But buggie gets the award for most adorable. Pretty little princess .
Buggie is the cutest! She's a star of homesteading 😄
Friday first!!! Buggy asked if daddy was gonna rototill and he said no then he did!! Buggy knew what needed to be done…. She will be the farm foreman keeping all the things in line. Go Buggy!!!❤🎉❤🎉
Behind every good man, is a women, no mater how young !!!!
You are really instilling a love of gardening in that daughter of yours, just as my father did!
You are far from a lazy man Ben…but life is a learning curve and you have now just learnt a bit more about your greenhouse choice. As the English say “ keep calm and carry on”.🙏
Amen!
Hollar time.....my favourite UA-cam family. Love and blessings to you all xjx

I think that it is great how you call the kids in for dinner/food, ye olde school dinner Bella.
I love watching the boys helping Ben, but when it is just him and Buggy tooling around on the mower with her little curls bouncing - just warms my heart!

You could fabricate a rolling arm as good as you have been with fabricating other needs to use on your homestead...❤️👏❤️👏
Woohoo it’s the Hollar’s!!! This just made my Friday!!!
IN Australia we have morno's (morning tea) and arvo's (afternoon tea) after lunch then dinner Whenever...lol it like living with Hobbits here as well
Hollar time 🎉
Ben, when you were explaining your situation when hearing that a pig 🐖 was out, when facing the camera, I swore the you were going to quote Jason of "Sow the Land" saying, "I don't trust no pig!" 🤣
Haha, me too!
Lol he had to chase them around his little farm. It was a great video.
Ben.....make a roll up contraption and then teach us all how it's done
I’m thinking aluminum roof rake extender poles…

Next winter you should consider renting a trencher and burying some plastic flex pipe and installing some non freeze water outlets. One big project would save you a lot of time pulling hoses
…and hind-sight is 20/20. We’ve all been there! 😊
Great work by the boys on the pig front. They are fantastic help.
Meg, what about seeing your herb garden???
Bunch of tomato pies in your future 👍😊
So, you don't "boom" the chickens? I guess that wouldn't give you much left🤣.
Buggie is SO DARN ADORABLE!!!
Buggie is so cute. She is daddy's little girl and helper. I really enjoy your videos. ❤
"We don't boom the chickens" Haha! Love her!
For Buggie's sake, it's a good thing there are no laws against being SO STINKING ADORABLE!!!
Awe, so cute! Precious little princess 😍🤗💞🤗 Have a blessed weekend 🤗💞🙏
Hi folks, much love from Scotland xx
Have a great weekend at the Homestead Hollars! 😁
After Autumn gets done with you.. Winter is a lovely respite. Still... what a blessing to know where your food is comming from... and not be stuck every evening commuting on a 6 lane highway.
Life is good. 👍
Thanks for another friendly visit.
👧 Bye! 🤗
What is this pig port you’re talking about? Sounds nice!
The smell on all the faces as they come in tells it all lol
And I just love that painted shed! Looks so nice! My style is hide the ugly 😆
WHO likes being picked up? Well OBVIOUSLY BUGGY does. Every time you come in she demands "pick me up".🤗 It's adorable!
There are two kinds of people in this world.
Those who base their lives around their meals and those who base their meals around their lives.
Watching Meg working with her bees is so enjoyable.
Buggie sure does like working with daddy. 😊
Congratulations on fall food of piggies. You have to jump on it when a great deal comes along.
Thank you Hollar folks :)
Buggy likes being picked up , Ben lol
Nice video 👍 ❤️ 🙋♂️
My mom had a school bell like that when I was a kid. We could go anywhere we wanted as long as we could still hear the bell ring when she wanted us to come home. Thank you. That moment brought back memories.
I just ate at 3PM... I call it SLUNCH. LOL

Ben, no one could ever call either yourself or Meg, lazy! You were probably doing 10 other things at the time you rolled it up last.
Addition to curry…..one’s own homemade Major Grey’s Chutney…..put on top when serving and then mix it in. ❤️❤️
We don't boom the chickens 😂My gosh, she is the sweetest.
I have been back on the east coast for five months and I still don’t get hungry till 7 8 pm my body is still use to mountain time so I know how it feels
I loved the grin on Tyler's face when you said he brought a sword. We should all feel that happy as often as we can.
What a concept, to eat when you're hungry instead of by a clock! Have a fulfilling Friday!!
breakfast, coffee break, elevensies, lunch, brunch, picnic, tea, dinner, supper, midnight snack, snackrament, snack parade, buffet, feast, nosh.
Hey Hollers, that should fix the problem Ben 👍.
Grow out Piggies are a great idea except when they escape 🤭!
Yall have a great weekend 😊.
JO JO IN VT 💞

Another fun filled day on the homestead! All the family know what to do when the unplanned events happen. Great to see you all working together. 💕💕🌻🌻
You know, even If I didn't watch your channel for any other reason, I would watch to hear the precious remarks your little girl comes up with.
This was fun!! ❣❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❣

So Buggy likes Eric and Ariel in Alaska , fun couple also bee keepers

Biggie loves being picked up 😊
It's good to see Meg sitting in her comfy chair.
I'm learning that farm lunches start late. You have so much to do and keep so busy that all of a sudden it's 3pm and you are starving!
Hi, Ben and Meg! Everything is nice and green! You guys know that Buggie always steals the show, don’t you. She is nothing short of precious.
I love you ring the dinner bell and the kids come running from outside!!!!!! Not, turn off your devices, its time to eat! Have a great Sunday!
I wouldn't say your bad about the greenhouse water fiasco, I'd say lesson learned. Good job.
Could you buy more hose, a faucet splitter, and a couple floats? :)
You are always so busy. So much to do on a farm. Buggie is so darn cute. 💕
Ben, I'm betting that you could DIY roller for the sides of your green house. You and Meg are so creative & resourceful and I really enjoy watching you both take on new projects.
What a great active day 🤩. With the GH it’s like everything else…. Lesson learned 🤣🤣
❤ spending time with the family 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Simple Living Alaska 💕. Another great show.
Ben...Talk to Sweet Miah about how they roll up their sides. I think you'll love the difference in NOT getting wet!!!
Knowing your creative mind...few weeks from now.. ...on today's episode. So I had some extra pipe and bits laying around and I made my own roll up system...
Howdy from west Texas! 😊
I could write a children's book about this with a little help. I love what bees do....My Izabelle(6 yrs old) we call Bee because her lil bro calls her that. Anyway....so love you ❣️
breakfast, brunch, elevinties, lunch, and that's just the morning.
Yall are a special group of humans, blessed beyond measure. Blessings, julie 😊

Never can have too much pork, chicken or beef. Sounds like your fall/winter pantry will be full.yum
My dog catches flies, I call them sky raisins, the bees are spicy sky raisins 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's always good when your friends and you can help each other out. Good for you both.
Buggy at the end
‘We don’t boom the chickens!’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bret is a man after my own heart. Foods ready? Get to the table!
Meg great to see you have made great progress with bee's
What a joy. Happy weekend to you. Your family is such a blessing. Thank you for sharing all that you do.
My grandpa's pigs went through so much water a day. Non stop drinking!!!
After your mulching video, I began hearing about the super El Niño that’s coming through this winter and a chunk of the country won’t get much rain. Thought of you instantly when you said you just had a feeling. Way to listen. 👍🏼
Fantastic progress & I’m sure glad the greenhouse & new piggies are okay! Have a wonderful weekend & blessings to all 🤗💜🇨🇦
Just like brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch I like to call late afternoon meals lupper - lunch and supper combined. 😆
Simple living Alaska is one of my favorites too.
