In this video, I’m going to show you the easiest way to play the Arcanist class in ESO, and you only need one skill bar! Hey everybody, welcome back to the channel, HTM here, and it’s time to update what I think is one of the most powerful builds in ESO: the One Bar Stamina Arcanist!
Whether you prefer solo or group content, this build has it all, including big AOE cleave damage plus massive shields and healing for survival. Plus you can run this with only one skill bar making this build one of the easiest in ESO to pick up and play right away!

What do you think about useing Cruxweaver Armor/Unbreakable Fate instead of the Runeward? or is it far superior keeping ya alive while soloing bosses etc etc?
Just came back to the game properly with endless archive.
This build got me my first deathless vet Maelstrom and the Spirit Slayer Vateshran Hollows trifecta on my 2nd try with it.
I love it, so much more fun to play than the one bar sorc you used to see everywhere for solo dungeons.
I returned after 5 years, all friends and guildies lost. Just finished to grind the items for this build 1 week ago and I'm bloody soloing everything I couldn't back then: World Bosses, the new Bastion Nymic first try, dungeons both Normal or Veteran (not all, didn't tried and won't ofc due to mechanics), I could do the Veteran solo Arenas back then, but now with this build it's a breeze.

Using a non ideal version of the set, already boosted my damage greatly with the set boosts and passives
Love the build! One question, in the vid your ulti is The Languid Eye and in the text description you use the Tide King’s Gaze, am I missing something or is one of the guides outdated?
I'm running this build on my Arcanist since I all ready had the gear for it which I'm currently CP 701. It melts packs of mobs like hot knife through butter with the Pragmatic Fatecarver skill it's crazy. Throw in Isobel Veloise companion and set her up as a tank you will be golden.
For food I prefer using 'Lava Foot Soup-And-Saltrice' as it gives Increase Max Stamina by 4575 and Stamina Recovery by 457 for 2 hours. I find I really don't need extra HP that food tends to give me since I use shield when soloing content. I just really need the extra Stamina and Stamina Recovery when soloing bosses cause resources gets a little tight.
Hey Hack, love the build! Just started my Arcanist and I'm planning on trying it out once I finish leveling. I noticed that you haven't been including companion suggestions in your written guides any more and I was wondering what you would recommend pairing with this build along with any tweaks youd suggest to account for them. Preferably an Isobel build since she is my main companion
Just changed up my arcanist that was a 2bar magicka build, followed your guide and absolutely loving it, im only CP928 compared to your 3600 so i know theres a bit of a gap but im now parsing around 50K which i am very proud of, tyvm for this amazing build guide, i already had the oakensoul and could easily craft the orders wrath, and just flat out bought the deadly, absolutely nasty build bro, thanks again❤❤❤
Weird that you come on cp 928 on only 50k. I started new on PC now cp 290 and have 76K dps on the puppet
People have different capabilites :) some have slower reaction times, have disabilities ect. He got 50k, which sounds like an improvement for him. Good on him :) Congratz, keep grinding :)
@@erikhoffmann2681 how even? I dont have a puppet to test it, so does it provide some bonuses? I usually run random dungeon daily and I do 20-25k on a boss, using the gear in the video, yellow weapons, rest purple, yellow enchants on oakensoul and weapons, purple on the rest. No food no pots. I build stacks, debuff boss and the beam, stacks, beam, stacks, rebuff, etc.

Hello ! Returned to the game after 2 years and I initially had a 2h/bow stamina nightblade build but now I see everything changed , do you know by any chance if it's still viable ?
Mr. Hack wouldn't Innate Axiom and Claws of the Forest Wraith perform better when you're only using class abilities than Orders Wrath?
Also, when Running Dual Wield + Deadly/Evasive Cloak, to make the build even stronger, 4 Piece Orders Wrath + Black Rose Dual Wield should strengthen the Build even more. What are your thoughts on that?

Hello! Can I use a Greatsword instead of Daggers?
Why have points in the weapon passives “slaughter” and “controlled fury” when you aren’t using any dual wield skills?
Love this Stamina build. I have about 340 more stamina recovery cuz I like it. But that does mean I have less spell/wep damage than you.
I'm running this with hexos instead of orders as an experiment. I use the same skill setup. I pretty much always have shields. I'm not sure how fatecarver works with hexos, if they stack, but so far it's working well.
Could you also replace orders with hundings rage?
Love your builds, but I do have 1 question as I gear my own Arcanist up. Isn’t the penetration low? Wouldn’t it be better to add penetration with a monster helm and use the lover Mundas stone and possibly used maces instead of going for critical chance on all three of those? Doing pen on all three is also overkill, but the only source of penetration I see on this build is champion points

Hey, love the build, but is there any particular reason why you use dual wield and would the build work with 2-handed?
For the extra crit rating. The entire point of this build is to stay in the beam as much as possible, and so weapons won't really be used apart from heavy attacking to regain stam/magicka. You might as well get some extra crit rating then, since that's what the build is all about in the first place.
Honestly id swap out the weapon buff skill for colorless pool, gives a good dps buff for bosses and having a stun is always welcome

The prices for deadly daggers got totally insane.
The only problem Im having with this is that lets say I get to 3 crux, then use the fatecarver, and I get one crux back (even before it ends), now I can do two Flails to get to three, but if instead I have to use the Impervious Runeward inbetween (as mentioned in the Solo rotation in the written guide) it eats that one free crux and I dont get one back for free and have to Flail/Mend a total of 3 times instead, is this a calculated downside from when one has to create an extra shield or am I doing something wrong? :<
EDIT: Just like at 16:31! You used Ward and consumed your crux, then you flail twice and get two crux, then you do Fatecarver with said two while saying "Fully Stacked"?
Im realizing now that since the idea is to use fatecarver as much as possible (also because of the shield), the positives outweighs the negatives when having to do a Fatecarver with only 2 crux? Or did something go wrong here? Visual bug?
Also, the guide and this video differs in certain places (Weapon Glyphs and Warfare Champion Point Slotted abilities for example) and Im wondering then what is the uptodate version? Im guessing the written one?
Oh, and one more thing, the written guide says "Flame / Poison" for the Glyphs, does that mean Flame for one and Poison for the other one or either Flame or Poison for the one with the Flame glyph in the video?
Yet another question: I am using an Argonian, do you think it would be an idea to switch out one or both daggers for Axes to get a boost to Critical Damage?
Just run something like this build but with hexos instead order wrath. Less damage but more safety. Great build, tnx.
honestly i agree, drop runeward for cloak too and you would have a much better settup.
Personally don't think you need hex at all
i use this build but use blooodthirst instead of the 3 heal skill, using bloodthirst and cephaliarch's flail together and you keep bumping up your health so that you are practically unkillable

You can, just run Runeblades. But Stamina Arcanist better

very nice, i used to play on console just returned tot he game, this time on pc, because epic gave it away for free updated to necrom almost immeadietly loving the arcanist i love the tome of Spamehameha green aoe beam of death and who doesn't love a kitty with tentacles i am a lion like khajiit still below 50 atm but i will be running this atleast for a while to farm some stuff and perfect my playstyle
Most builds from previous updates are still viable. They just need updated for endgame content or pvp
How do you recommend playing until I get my hands on the oakensoul ring?
Actively scrying for about 10-12 hours will land you max level with little to no purple and gold leads. I am only CP 180, but I stuck to scrying to unlock the ability to scry for uniques. Super worth it. Plus you get tons of gold and furniture items from it!
There is 2 things they need to change with raid to get rid of the energy and the upgrades to work more frequently because I spent nearly a million silver trying to upgrade a weapon 9 times out of 10 it fails
Hi, love the set and have made it. But no way can I get Spell Resistance/Physical Resistance up to your numbers, the best I get is 19k and 18k respectively. Please give me some ideas on what I can to to fix this. Thanks.
So I figured it all out.. the build provided in written form is NOT the same as provided in the above video. I changed everything to match the video and all the numbers came in perfectly. This begs the question, Hack. Why are the written notes different from the video?
Also as a side note, there are not many potions that can give a buff that a oakensoul doesn't already give. Except potions of resistance. 5k+ to both spell and physical.
That's usually due to a game update changing game mechanics. Look at the time the video was posted vs the written guide update if the creator tells(some do). It's easier to update a written guide vs a video. @@henripatey4008

What is the reasoning for using light armor on the head and medium on the shoulder? Wouldn't it be better to use medium on the head and light on the shoulder? Considering that the head is a larger armor piece, so using medium on the head would give more armor.

We don't need it imo. We have a burst heal and the shield also heals abit.
@@miairart8702 iceheart shoulders + helm, spectral cloak daggers (2 of them) which come from blackrose. This gives you a shield, as well as permanent 6% dmg increase and 6% damage decrease

Question: did absolutely everything the same as in the video and I don’t have the same stats numbers… specifically: max stamina is at 27k not 30, crit is at 55%, not 57, and health is off by 1k too. So like not super bad, but just why? Anyone has the same issue?

A full monster set. If you have no mythic. Velothi is a mythic for 2 bar arcanist

@@adamuser8246 ima be honest, it's been a minute since I caught up with what monster set is the best. And arcanist is a little different considering the spammable is channeled. So if you have one based off light attacks you'd want to make sure it has a high enough up time.
So while there might be better proc sets, I don't know what they would be or to suggest.
I'd say slimecraw is fine provided you don't have anything else giving you minor berserk. Or whatever the buff is. I think it's berserk.
Guild traders NEVER have the gear for these builds, at least on PS4/PS5 NA. I have a crafter but no idea what hell I'll have to go through to get the recepies.
orders wrath is 3 trait, deadly strike is from cyrodill and slimecraw is from undaunted very easy to get and craft, very begginner friendly, longest part is antiquities for the mythinc ring

With the new update lightning staves might be better now
not better than DW but thats mainly due to lacking 2 enchants. though you easily run one anyway for more range, with u39 the difference is very minor.
I'm still trying to figure out why a ranged caster is using dual wield weapons that aren't used at all...
For the passive buff.
Rele is the most over rated set, micro managing stacks is annoying, they should extend the 5 second window

Too bad the interrupt protection doesn’t work..
It does work. Pragmatic fatecarver prevents interrupt (aka bash), which only comes from enemy players in pvp. It does not have immunity against hard CCs like stun, knockback, fear and pull.
It interrupts though. It should count or they need to rephrase it.
@@SupertoastGT i agree, all they need to add in the skill is "immunity to player interruption" cuz i get knocked back so many times its kinda bs before i realized it

@@bobcatliciouseh there are interrupts in pve too, espec in DLC Dungeons, cc immunity would be nice, but it's valuable in e.g. the Spiderkith DLC Dungeon

Some Bow adds use Interrupt arrow, Shield adds can bash you in Trials, some mages have some form of Crushing shock, Spider Daedra have the Energy wave which Interrupts (e.g. WGT and Maelstrom)

@mystra. No the reason you go stam on a one bar arc build is because frail is always stam base. So a mag build will have sustain issue whereas a stam build for the skills slotted by hack is more evenly spread.
He was 2 skills (1 spammble) that uses stam and 3 using mag. Had this been a mag build then all 5 skills will be using mag so a very poor way to use your resources.
@jasonchui111 Incorrect. Frail is based on highest resource.
Sorry English not my first language. What I was trying to get at is mag build will not work due to highest stats becoming main resource for arc core skills leading to sustain issues.
It has nothing to damage as you suggest. Stam build will mean 3 skills stam cost and 2 skills mag cost for his layout. Mag build will main all 5 skills costing mag.

A guild mate of mine completely buffed has his weapon dmg 9602 weapon crit 60.3% penetration 5271 max mag 33963 max health 25741 max stam 21295 stam rec 1340 health rec 1132 mag rec 1169 his arcanist is a beast

Its actually quite profitable to level up your scrying/excavation. I've been doing it between dungeon queing for pledges, and its given me around 150-200k in a few hours

Why do these videos always seem to think its just a matter of thowing on the optimal set ( multiple sets ) of gear - like its just lying around ready to go .

If you're on EU, I can craft You anything You need
Orders wrath, takes 3 traits researched to craft. 2-3 days of research per piece if you are slow about it. Deadly strike is accessible buy spending 25kap on a coffer in bruma or trading but prices vary wildly for pieces and region. Oakensoul is purely a lead farm which averages 6hrs for most people. swap slimecraw shoulder for helmet and thats farmable in 3 runs at most of vet wayrest sewers 1, which isnt a hard dungeon.
TLDR you are playing an MMO so stuff takes time but all of this is easy to acquire gear, noone is asking you to go do a VRG HM or anything.

*meh, my heavy attack build do more damage. Besides, other player can do 30K a critic on their beam build. 20K a critic is easy even without mythic item.*
