I am doing this on my 2007 buick lucerne, no noise like that but heat and ac do not work on the passenger side. I cannot find the actuator you show in the video, any chance you've done this on a buick? It should be the same as the lacrosse you mention
I have a 2014 Chevy Impala Limited. After replacing the actuator on the far right side behind the glovebox the clicking has stopped but do not have any airflow in any of the settings hot, cold, defrost. Could this be from improper install of the actuator? Or separate issue? The air was working until a few days ago before we replaced the actuator today. Any suggestions?
@@AutoEclinic I'm going to replace the second actuator in the glovebox then do the calibration again and see what happens. I haven't had time to get the 2nd part yet but I think I have 2 bad actuators. I hooked it up to the power and it wasn't moving freely like the new actuator. I do have some airflow now but only working on driver side and cold or colder on passenger side. Thanks for sharing that with me. I'll update once I give it a go.
@@AutoEclinic turns out it was the 1 actuator that needed replaced plus I had I burnt up wire in my blower motor resistor. Had a friend wire around to give me heat until I can replace the part.

It will be a little different but should be the same area and concept on removing.

Calibration needs to be done when any of the actuators are replaced. That could be what’s causing the issue.

It’s very possible to have two bad ones. The Impala in the video had two that were defective at the same time.
@@AutoEclinic I'm hoping that's my case as well. Going to work on it Saturday and see.
