Have had orange one about a month now and its absolutely amaizing! Only little problem for me is that on longer rides my fingers start to get bit numb... Might be my very thin cloves and not being completely relaxed on riding yet but it does have bit of vibration.
That would most likely be due to gripping too hard. Try wiggling your fingers while moving and be conscious of your grip. I'm a new rider and I always catch myself gripping too hard. I used to get really sore wrists as a result.
@BrookmanRides am enjoying it heaps, from a couple of trail bikes in the 70s to this at 65yrs old, you rode that bike very well, my 1st ride in over 40yrs (besides the 2 day learners course the day before) was from Melbourne to Maryborough, city traffic, 110km multi-lane highway & country roads was a little concerned, but the bike was so easy to ride, l had a great ride home
@@terrynitschke5776 hello there. I am 66 and this is my 12th street bike.1st bike at 16 was an R5. Still have a Kaw 900 custom LTD. Had a H-D FXR in the 70's . I love this Triumph and all of my Harley friends give me cred. Be in the wind
For anyone going WOW…for the price. Keep in mind that Triumph is one of the last to still charge for freight/setup. Tacks on another +$1000-1300. All of a sudden it’s a $10,000 bike not including tax and licensing.
no wonder, in here they cost like 13k (puerto rico) at least thats the price i have seen on the triumph dealership fb page thats what they put. Ridiculous, if they charge like that to every bike they have a speed 400 might be like 8 to 9k lol.
just bought one for 7,00usd. Added quick shifter and heated grips, payments will be 157 a moth, and insurance will be dirt low. I almost got the street triple and then realized i could not pass this bike up.
Good review. I am in Thailand and am thinking of selling my Yamaha SCR950 and KTM 390 Duke for just one bike: the Trident 660, and I want this colour. Thankfully we don't have LAMS bikes. I like the rear tyre licence plate arrangement. I love the triple engine. I will retain my Yamaha Aerox 155 for local work. Nick
I was watching the video of the Legendary Vincent Black Shadow and the speedo of the triumph reminds me of that bike. and if you had it in black it would really be like the Vincent.
@@Brookmanrider I just bought a Trident 660 today and can confirm that it does have self cancelling signals. If you go to the Bike Setup menu then Indicators you have two options Basic or Advanced. I tested it on my ride home and it did work well.
probably my fav motorbike but here it cost like 13k or more, no idea why. ridiculous lol, thats like 4.5k more than msrp. if it was at least 10k maybe but not that much.
Same as the entire world stress about American stupid 16 century measurement system like feet, cup, yards, miles, inch, galon, and other ridiculous bullshit while the entire world goes with extremely useful and easy metric system.
Wish my Trident had some more gas capacity and a "sport" rider mode. All things considered, you cant beat this bike on style/performance/price! Yes Honda has the new Hornet, but its not as pretty and not sold in the USA yet. Also consider the only bike that beats the Trident in price in the USA is the SV650.
Why did they discontinue the orange colour, they could have also had a blue red green as an option. Why do they make their colour choices so drab. they need to attract young people into motor cycling

Got mine 1st June, yes the Baja Orange, love it, and it gets so much attention and comments in my little Victorian town of Maryborough

Bought mine yesterday, also in orange! Now I have to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive. Those will be very long 3 weeks.......
What country you from
Did you get it? Picking mine up in a week (Saturday). Trading in my 2020 MT07. I test rode this in May and it is perfect for me.
Beautiful bike and colour! What camera do you use for POV btw, the quality is amazing?
Thanks it’s the GoPro 8 black but will soon be going for something else stay tuned
Wow, didn’t realise it was that clear!
I like the way they updated the bike this year. Triumph keeps things moving forward. Nice vid. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
This bike is such a good do it all bike.
It is definitely
Finally I own this beauty.✌️
Awesome man good video. ❤

Does anybody know how to fix throttle lag. I heard people sell this bike because of the throttle response.
Apparently it can be mapped out, according to Yammie Noob (prolly void your warranty tho)
Non restricted it is 60 kw. Or 80,5 HP. So actually a big difference
Not really mate low down it’s about the same
I thought these had self canceling turn signals but I noticed yours never did.
Nah not this model

Such a cool ride! A few nice bikes in this category to choose from; XSR700, Z650RS, GSX 8S, etc...
Yeah I probably wouldn’t put gsx8 in the same category but the rest definitely
@@Brookmanrider 🥂
@@Brookmanrider why not?
2 cylinder bikes sound pretty meh, Trident or Honda CB650R are the only special feeling bikes in this category
Nice ride sir btw odo KM/HR OR MILES/HR? tnx
Not my bike mate it’s a press bike
In Km
Hello, some say the throttle response of the trident is soft and delayed. What do you think?
Had one 6 months. Yup bit laggy but this is my 1st ever bike with ride by wire throttle so I somewhat expected it
Thanks for your answer.
@@knomesaynmafk4789
I don’t really find it that soft but yeah compared to the 765 it is a little
Thanks@@Brookmanrider

Definitely fantastic bike
I like this over the Honda as I have done a review on that as well.
Can u do wheele on this bike
I get the feeling you think this is a fantastic bike.
Why did you end the review at 12 minutes and then carry on for another 4 and a half minutes?
Definitely didn't end there.
Hello! Thiago here from Brazil 👍👍👍
I'm 1.82 with 110 kilos. Would she be small for me and the rump? congratulations for the video
Would be ok but probably better on the Tiger 660
Can 175cm height ride these bike
What mirrors are those
Stock ones

Yeah I’m not a massive fan myself of the orange but a nice blue or yellow would be cool
There's no difference in power unless you're playing solidly above 6500 revs
Why do you ride in the middle lane? Vehicles undertaking you. Good bike review, though 👍
Thanks
long term relaiblity ?
Good it’s a triumph
I own a Trident and I find the constant gear changing annoying, and the bike is a little top heavy. But it's still good bike.
It is a bad thing to put short gearing in a motorcycle. Buzzy engines distract from an enjoyable ride.
Not all the time. The engine on this is very smooth actually.
WTf is a killo wht
Ple ble balam
Heard the throttle sucks ass...?
Nah was fine
it does, not my trident though
If you can keep your "ummms" and "aaaahs" to a minimum.
You don’t have to Watch even better
@@Brookmanrider that one was a free tip. Next one is $280 plus taxes! So my reply to what you should be saying is "you're welcome!"
