Hi, does attaching the final part of the exhaust directly to the frame below the seat with a bracket (without any rubber vibration dampener) negatively affect comfort? Is there an increase in vibrations compared to the stock exhaust system?

So if the v2 makes 155hp, why can't the gsx8r break past 100hp? It doesn't even hit 80hp if I'm not mistaken. The daytona 660 makes more horsepower and it's a smaller engine. The cbr650r is smaller than the daytona 660 and makes more power than both. I seriously don't understand engines. Really really seems like wasted potential, money, and time if you make an engine and don't try to get EVERY single hp and unit of torque out. I hear shitheads say all the time "you think you know better than them at the factories"... sometimes l really do.

I know it’s a year old but those are mid controls. Fwd controls would have your legs stretched out in front of you. Mids is like sitting on a toilet.

Excellent review of the MT-03. You did ask for some comments at the end of your review - thank you for the video. With great respect I have three (3) comments to make. First one: the bike is a 321 cc and not a 370 cc as you mentioned at the start of the video. Second one: A lot of followers watch your videos - don't forget to indicate left before you pull over at the kerb to do a look around the bike. Third observation: on two occasions in your video (when other motorists were holding you up) you took the Lord's name in vain. Let me ask you: would you use your mother's name as a curse word/swear word. I think you would answer no to that question. Please refrain from using the Lord's name as a swear/curse word.

V2 and V4 test rides? Where is this?

I grew up on the Northern beaches most my life so knew where you were straight away being in a driving job and now driving semi trailers out west sydney. anyways lookin at 6'2 at buying a 2023 119ci mw8 donk whip in the next week or two coming from a Dyna 1992 with forward controls. I am looking forward to hopping on and knowing that I can easily adjust the seat with a saddleman and then bars with t bars or z's with risers and then forward controls if needed but I want to angle good cornering on it for that reason so the controls will stay mid as long as possible and from what I hear the dudes hitting 6 foot plus can easily do it. It is basically like sitting on a seat.

Get it de restricted asap comes alive. I prefer mine to 1100 evo and 821 , the smooth response is the key to how this bike is so quick. Looks cool too, mines a 2012 , my choice from many many bikes I’ve ridden.

I wonder what percentage of motorcycle riders who get exhausts and tunes and use power commanders or whatever actually understand the difference between crank and wheel horsepower. manufacturers always advertise crank horsepower because they're talking about what the engine produces. friction and heat heat up some of that power and what's left is transferred to the wheels. Dinos measure horsepower at the wheels. they have no way of knowing the horsepower at the crank so rather than estimating crank horsepower, they just give accurate readings at the wheel depending on the calibration of the machine and atmospheric conditions and a few other little things. with that being said, this bike will get somewhere in the 130s at the wheel but it's advertised in the mid-160s on the Yamaha website. getting an exhaust and a tuned can bring this reliably up to the 149 154 horsepower range at the wheels depending on the dyno and the bike, add about 10% to 15% to the wheel horsepower to give an estimate of what the engine is putting out. it wouldn't be unreasonable to say this bike has over 170 maybe 175, maybe a little bit more at the crank. but honestly who knows. each bike is different, atmospheric conditions are different, some tunes are more aggressive than others. it's a really really really fast bike. I know I have one 🙂

just bought one for 7,00usd. Added quick shifter and heated grips, payments will be 157 a moth, and insurance will be dirt low. I almost got the street triple and then realized i could not pass this bike up.

Just goes to show there is a DRASTIC difference in dyno readings. Dynojet is the go to manufacturer here in the US, absolutely NO WAY you're going to get 180whp out of an mt10. That's absolute bull-💩! I have a healthy mt10 with R1 titanium headers, Yoshi decat/exhaust system and a ecu tune (flash) and we got 154whp. Someone is extremely optimistic😆😅🤣😂

Good review. I am in Thailand and am thinking of selling my Yamaha SCR950 and KTM 390 Duke for just one bike: the Trident 660, and I want this colour. Thankfully we don't have LAMS bikes. I like the rear tyre licence plate arrangement. I love the triple engine. I will retain my Yamaha Aerox 155 for local work. Nick
