"I'm not sure what you want me to do."
Sonny never thought to radio the SWAT boys, he just likes kicking doors in
12:03 That's what Marie gets for ordering lobster while on a date with a guy who only makes $1 per day.
8:41 Keith: *takes a long drag off the ciggarette and flicks it away* "I've always had your back Sonny.. Now," *grabs crotch* "I'll have your front!"
At the hotel you can radio for a warrant to search the room. Makes for more points!
Woody is the bartender at the Hotel in the endgame part of PQ1
Oh, is he? I didn't pick up on that. Thanks! You just saved me from a bit of embarrassment in my upcoming "Fair & Balanced" retrospective on the game!
to be fair Sonny was totally wasted on whiskey the last time he saw Woody
@@danielauerbach1694 I did the math, and if you go by the alcohol-only method, Sonny knocked back around 8 fifths of whiskey.
🤣🤣🤣 It's kind of amazing he was able to stand up straight, much less play two games of poker and climb three flights of stairs afterwards.
@@spacequesthistorian PQ2 is one of the most finicky Sierra games to play to get the perfect narrative. There are little things I noticed the walkthrough you're using missed (if my memory is correct) that make things make a little more sense. Ah, Sierra...
I assume a 'Fair & Balanced' PQ2 video is rapidly approaching. Regarding that, & alternate versions,YT just recommended a video showcasing Point-&-click patches for SCI0 games (Larry 3, PQ2, Colonel)
Something to bring up, if it is well-made, perhaps?
Yes, such a video is indeed in production. I already finished the script but I haven't recorded it yet, so I'll check out these patches and see if they're good! I've only ever heard of the KQ4 remake in AGS that had a "no dead ends" option. Thanks for the heads-up!
@spacequesthistorian The video that showed up in my recommendations was by @pakolmotradus195 , and to be clear- I haven't checked this out farther than the channel. Most of the testing showcases appear to be in Spanish. But, according to the comments under the Laura Bow Test video, an English patch is also available? Or in the works?
Anyway, hope this helps!
I just had a play with it this evening. As far as I can tell, the PQ2 patch is in Spanish only. But if you delete all the "text"-files in the patch directory, the in-game text reverts to English (but the menus will still be in Spanish).
Thanks very much for the recommendation. I added the patch to my video script and I'll screenshot your comment and put it in the video.
