4:35 Ah yes Lewis already at Mercedes
Well yesn't
Maybe they mean his mercedes engine, which is what let him down
@Alan ALI 12 oh ok
Media always afraid to tell the truth about Lewis.
11:18 - It wasn't a "collision" which implies both drivers are equally guilty.
It was LH crashing into Kimi, who was waiting at the red light at the pit exit, by the rules.
Proud to say that the first race I’ve attended on purpose was Spain 2012. Absolutely unforgettable to see the legend taking the win
It’s crazy to think how f1 has changed for drivers age wise. In the old times drivers were still seen in their primes around mid to late 30s nowadays if a driver is near 30s people are wanting them replaced by a driver who’s barely even 18 yet
It's almost like Vettel, Hamilton, Raikkonen, Riciardo, Perez and Bottas don't exist.
@@caphowdy666 Out of that list, only Hamilton is still a WDC contender. The rest are decent or midfield drivers. Age wears away one's reflexes, so it's perfectly reasonable to want a young driver in this regard.
@@liamcdm3689 That has nothing to do with anything. The reason most of them are not in with a shot at the title is due to the cars they are in. And that has nothing to do with the original post I was replying to. Nobody wants these older guys replaced by younger guys, they want the likes of Stroll and Latifi replaced, not the likes of Bottas, Alonso and Vettel. People actually want those guys to do better. And if you think Hamilton is the only one who is a WDC contender, why is Perez ahead of him in the standings and getting better race results?
@@caphowdy666 Hamilton isn't a contender this season. This season's an outlier for him.
@@liamcdm3689 You just said he was the only one on that list that was a title contender, and I pointed out that Perez is, now you are saying Hamilton is not this year. None of this, as I say has anything to do with the point that I was making that next to nobody is saying these guys should be replaced.
Many of these drivers were taken too soon and could have achieved so much more. True legends in my eyes!
One of your best ever films, I must say. Thank you.
Hopefully Pierre & Esteban can get their next soon
Honestly... I think Pierre will join this list.
Pierre will definitely be on this list the kid has no hope anymore unfortunately. Ocon still has something to go off being managed by toto and quite close to the Mercedes team, Gasly had his chance and blew it. Red Bull bringing him back to the main team would look bad on RB
@@GlockGrippa If Pierre gathers the confidence he can win a lot of races when he is in the right car

portuguese isn't spanish
in spanish, josé is [xoˈse], but in portuguese it's [ʒuˈzɛ] (in portugal) or [ʒoˈzɛ] (in brazil). the J is a similar to a J in french, a [ʒ] sound.
also, in portuguese, a C before an I or an E makes a [s] sound (before other vowels, it's a [k] sound). it's not a [tʃ] sound.
I agree with you, But "Pace" is an Italian last name.

Was Hamilton already in a Mercedes in 2012 ? I thought he was in a McLaren and joined Mercedes in 2013...
You are correct.
Lewis Hamilton joined Mercedes in 2013, in 2012 he was in McLaren, check with wikipedia if you are not sure.
Yeah, she is wrong there
Either that or they meant Mercedes engine maybe ? Idk
@@AssassinoDB that's what I thought so there was either a mistake or the sentence wasn't complete. Or, it's been so long since the start of Mercedes dominance that they forgot there was a time Hamilton was not in a Mercedes.
McLaren Mercedes was a thing guys. Their split was kind of a big deal.
Robert Kubica was not only a one win wonder. His pace was so strong back then. He finished 4th in the driver standings in 2008 in a shitbox. If it was not for his accident, he would have become a Ferrari driver and a world champion.
True. I think it's just a bad choice of words for this video title. Most of these drivers were brilliant but just couldn't match up to the best champions or cars on the field, but are still worthy of being remembered.
He was closer to winning the title in 2008 than Ferrari has been after 2008
''Robert Kubica was not a one win wonder'' one win wonder means a person who only won once. so um...
He would have become a Ferrari driver (assuming you believe the myth)
Great, he's about to become a driver for them right before Mercedes dominate everything and he'd never get a sniff at a title.
@@morfeusz525 It's not surprising that he has one a race. It surprises me even more that he hasn't won more races. It was no wonder. It was just a matter of time until he won his first race. If the accident never happened he probably would have had as many race wins like Ricciardo and Verstappen.

Just shows you how much the FIA were against Senna. "He was disqualified for rejoining via the escape road" this is exactly what you should do? What was better that he reversed back onto the track into oncoming traffic
U mean maFIA?
There is a video of the driver briefing at Susuka 1990, Senna and Balestri get into a heated argument because of that. Just by the way he treats the driver you can see that he was a c*ck
Politics always ruled F1, just right now maFIA does everything they can to help Mercedes and their golden boy Lewis.

That escape road rule that Senna lost the championship must be one of the biggest daylight robberies of logic in motorsport.

@@tiax1592 Prost said at the time he didn't see Senna coming up the inside. Now he admits he knew Senna was there and still turned into the corner, so there was psychology on both sides of the incident in 1989. Prost has more former teammates that didn't like him than Senna. That speaks volumes.
I imagine it’s both thrilling and maddening to have only one win in F1. Thrilling because so many never win a single race but maddening to taste it one time and never have the experience again.
That 2004 Renault is one of the most beautiful f1 car ever.
Their is a mistake in the video. Lewis Hamiltions "Mercedes" was excluded from quali. Lewis was still at Maclaren in 2012!
It was McLaren Mercedes, i guess they left ‘McLaren’ away to keep that part short enough.
@@markzijnrules Mercedes existed in 2012 with Rosberg and Schumacher.
I would have thought Giancarlo Baghetti would have been the ultimate one win wonder as he won on his debut. There's quite a few others that are surely worth a mention eg Jochen Mass, Jo Bonnier, Peter Gethin, Ludovico Scarfiotti and Vittorio Brambrilla.
Maldonado is not a one season wonder. Guy took a below average williams car to consistent top q3s whereas his teammate bruno senna kept getting knocked out in q1
Great qualifying performances don't mean anything if you constantly crash out during races... Williams lost too many points in 2012 due to both drivers crashing out too much. Australia, Bahrain, Europe, Monaco, Brazil... All while challenging for great point scoring finishes.
If anyone watches Josh Revell's video on him, you will soon understand that he is not quite the slow driver as many thought.
It's just his high tendency to put his car into the barrier, his incosistency and inabilty to supress his anger that really paints his career in a bad, jokingly way.
Spain 2012 really shows us what happens if he decided to keep his composure down and wins the race.
