I know that this video is ‘older’ but I just wanted to clarify for potential new viewers or even viewers that come back to these Wolfram dynos. It’s important to understand that in the manual the ratings/specs from Wolfram clearly state that they are originally rated at 1.5% THD @ 100 hertz and NOT 1% THD @ 40 hertz like most other companies. I would imagine if you tested their amps per their criteria these would have ZERO chance of coming up a bit short like this W-3000.1 did at 4 & 2 ohms. So if you take that into consideration these amps are doing well above their specs and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one of them (or a couple) myself. Again, just wanted to clarify this as I quickly scrolled through the comments and didn’t see any mention of this. As always, major props to Derrick for the always amazing content. 👍. Also, the W-4500 is rated at 1% THD so not sure why this W-3000.1 was rated that way. Perhaps Colin (Owner of Wolfram) could clarify this if he were to ever see this comment but not holding my breath, ha!

It would be nice to see these amp manufactures secure the large wiring inside these amps, they are after all going to make everything inside and outside the car shake like crazy. I have opened a few smoked amps where at least one large wire was fused to the main body of the Amp.
That sort of reminds me of the amp I currently have. At 4 ohms it's just ok, but drop down to 2 ohms and it comes ALIVE! I haven't run it at 1 ohm but I'm quite happy with it at 2 atm. Great video as always, keep them coming! :)
I'd say that amp is optimized for 1 ohm loads (tested better and better as the ohms went down). Judging from the .8 ohm tests, it sure seems to have nice overhead. Protection circut also seems nicely tuned for it's limits. Solid. :-)
You all saw the 4500 right? Wow, 7,000 dynamic for 599, that's insane. Around 130% of the rating. I would take that all day over my nendo, sq/aq, skar sk, all those similar. But even the twisted sounds amps don't surpass the 30% more power
I pre ordered the O 2400.1 when I saw the C2400.1 amp dyno thats on here for 199 u get a real 2.5 kw amp. Idk what I'm going to do with it tho its too big for my set up.
FloordAuto lol better amps for the price? What's that? Skar? The SK3500 put up 3940w during dynamic testing at 1ohm. This 3k did more than that. Willing to bet the SK3500 won't even do rated certified @ 1ohm.

Old flatline audio fl2. It's funny though that when that amp came out alot of people didn't believe it would make power. The guts pics never done the amps Justice from the 2k all the way up to the 8k.
Indeed, 4 and 2 ohm are worthless, 1 ohm is were its at. BIGD I wish you would have tried a .5 ohm load! After all, the amp is going back to them anyways. I'd bet it would have put big numbers up. Keep up the great work as always BIGD!

I would say it does what it's rated.. this company hasn't fail to prove there ratings yet.. I probably wouldn't buy there c class amps though, not positive but I don't thing the c class is korean.. maybe china.. personally I wouldn't buy any amp that's not korean built with korean parts and Korean boards.. the China stuff is ok, but if you like to push your stuff hard like 95% of bass heads you should not buy budget stuff.. pay for the good stuff, it cost more for a reason..
Great amp also guts are clean and unique design, i wish if you can Dyno any new zapco amp for example the STX.2000 they sound under rated we had one that outperform the SoundQubed 3500w and for much less price. Keep it up BigDwiz

Huge follower of your page. I realized that they are dropping a new amp similar to this one. I have currently a sundown SAE 1500d pushing 2 sundown sa 10s @ 1ohm. Would it be better to grab one of these? Or do the aw 1500.1? Any input would help me out. I wanna get the best out my subs without blowing them. I feel they can probably push 900w-1k rms per sub.

Your current measurement with the clamp meter on the test with the dual 1/0 power wire isn't quite right. you need to run both wires through the clamp meter otherwise your just measuring how much current is pulled from that one wire. What would be really cool is to get one of the DC current clamps that works with a scope; then you could graph current based on time and get a better picture of how much juice these things are sucking down!
+computerjlt both wires were going through clamp. I may have shown it going through one in a clip, but the measurements were taken with both wires. Good catch 👌
+Scott Sorensen I use batteries and ultracapacitors together. A regular stiffening cap by itself can't really be shown in my setup b/c of the massive reserve of current I have available.
+Eian Wahgener power at those ohm loads is not off rated by far. I usually expect amps that meet or exceed ratings at all ohm loads. Can't explain why it didn't meet rated at the higher ohm loads. I don't think dual inputs would benefit the Amp at 2/4 ohm loads

Im not sure i could pay $400 for a amp putting out similar number at the same ohms as the cab 1600.1 $200 amp an especially when for $400 you can get 4,000-6,000 real watt amps if you shop around

In the beginning at 4 and 2 ohms it wasn’t looking good, but at 1 ohm it managed to come through like a champ!

Wolfram is new to the market so they are pricing low to get some interest. The 4.5k at $599 is a superb deal for sure
If your just into dynamic numbers check out the orion amps. The xtr 2500 does 6k dynamic and the hcca 3000 does 12k dynamic. Imo thats just stupid.

1 ohm is the lowest rated impedance... You mean it didn't quite do rated certified at 2/4, however it did uncertified at 2.

Big D I'm trying to build me a all old school system I'm a BIG TIME old amp guy!! But I was wanting your professional opinion on something? Would you run 2-Punch 150HD's on a pr. of 12" old schoo Rockford Power Series 600rms each 4ohms each bridge each 150HD to them & 1-Punch 75HD on my Old School Rockford 6 1/2 Components upfront & 1-Punch 45HD on my Old School Rockford 6x9's in rear fill!! Now that's the first setup!! 2nd setup would be all the same speakers & subs on 2-Punch 200x2 on each 12 & 1-Punch 400x4 on my highs? WHAT WOULD YOU RUN?? Oh yeah I have a Old School Rockford 5X Crossover as well!! THANKS BIG D!

Accordng to the manual, the ratings are at 0.15% thd, 1.5% i guess? Maybe if you could test to 1.5% and 100hz it will make rated power at 4 and 2 ohm.
seems it gets better as you go up cuz the w-7500 goes way beyond its ratings.
@Williston Audio Labs Any chance you plan to dyno Wolfram's new O-series fullbridge amplifiers? I'd love the see the 10k certified at 40hz. Is the $/watt on these amps too good to be true??
Huge follower of your page. I realized that they are dropping a new amp similar to this one. I have currently a sundown SAE 1500d pushing 2 sundown sa 10s @ 1ohm. Would it be better to grab one of these? Or do the aw 1500.1? Any input would help me out. I wanna get the best out my subs without blowing them. I feel they can probably push 900w-1k rms per sub.

I like to run at 4 ohms but I always go way past clipping because I like to go hard!!

I prefer the old school Orion HCCA 100 . Try running that bad boy at .5 ohms. I have 3 of them.

Your current measurement with the clamp meter on the test with the dual 1/0 power wire isn't quite right. you need to run both wires through the clamp meter otherwise your just measuring how much current is pulled from that one wire.
What would be really cool is to get one of the DC current clamps that works with a scope; then you could graph current based on time and get a better picture of how much juice these things are sucking down!
+computerjlt both wires were going through clamp. I may have shown it going through one in a clip, but the measurements were taken with both wires. Good catch 👌

+Scott Sorensen I use batteries and ultracapacitors together. A regular stiffening cap by itself can't really be shown in my setup b/c of the massive reserve of current I have available.

+Eian Wahgener power at those ohm loads is not off rated by far. I usually expect amps that meet or exceed ratings at all ohm loads. Can't explain why it didn't meet rated at the higher ohm loads. I don't think dual inputs would benefit the Amp at 2/4 ohm loads

Hey i have a boss audio riot 1200 watt amp after i saw yu do the test on the boss 1500 watt amp i was shocked 😭 so probably in reality if i bridge this 1200 watt amp im probably gonna get not the amount of power i expected

Im not sure i could pay $400 for a amp putting out similar number at the same ohms as the cab 1600.1 $200 amp an especially when for $400 you can get 4,000-6,000 real watt amps if you shop around

Something rated 2500 watts RMS, then it'll push the sub. Gotta remember some subwoofers are vastly underrated
