Wow! Very flash. I like it. Had to do my loom twice, due to very poor quality looms. Happy to report, all is good now . . . Can't get into it, but there is no oil coming out . . . ! Nice job.
Thanks, I just seen your having trouble getting into it, I had the same issue with our D3, but luckily the emergency key lock actually worked. ! Have you tried another key ? Failing that I bet it's water got somewhere, and it might be ok when it dries out. eek
@@trollmanrs Only one key I'm afraid. I should have fixed that lock, but did not. My fault. Not sure what the problem is. I'll get Christmas out of the way then poke about with some wire.
Hi there! thanks for the great videos! i’ve just purchased another td5 2004! hard a hard time starting, have changed the in tank pump which was definitely needed! and the filter on chassis, primed the system but now will not start at all! just crank! possibly a ideal for me to change this injector harness? any help would be much appreciated:)
@@lukeblackwell3740 Hi! Sorry to hear of your difficulties. Presumably the new pump is working? I would be tempted to replace the old pump and see if it starts, and if it does, the new pump is dodgy. If not, the immobiliser might be kicking off. the injector harness would have to be really full of oil to prevent starting. Although too much in the ECU will cause damage. Check the red plug. If there is oil in there, it will need changing anyway. Check all the battery connections too. Best I can suggest really. Was it an OE pump or ebay special? When I have to change mine I will get a VDO Siemens pump, currently retailing at £333 !! But it should be trustworthy. Good Luck. Let me know how you get on.
Nice finish on the cam cover 😎
I'm just preparing mine for a coat of blue 👍🏻
Thanks, a guy locally did it for me.
