- This summer will have about no poker, but it will have a lot of dealing poker. I'm dealing the summer poker series at The Orleans on W Tropicana in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2024 Orleans Summer Open is the official name. Here are my tales.

Pretty much all day 2s, 3s, and further are in that room for next time. Outside of the massive events like collosus and huge ones like that. It's just called the Horseshoe ball room or convention center. All the 600 and up tables are in there if I remember correctly.
You get more per down bc with each entry fee some % goes to the staff, some rooms are more fair (like Orleans) and share that staff fee with dealers & cashiers. Others (like horseshoe) mostly goes to the floors/ management.
Surely they will provide you with a printout that shows how your pay amount was arrived at. I’ve no doubt they have a spread sheet for every dealer. Laying your hands on it might be just getting in contact with the right person in the payroll department. Thanks for posting 👍🏻👍🏻 and looking forward to the rest.

Hey Nomad, I was wondering with your dealing. Are you able to exclusively be a poker dealer when you work or do you have to work/learn table games as well. I absolutely abhor casinos and the idea of watching people who are guaranteed to lose their money to me if I had a religion would be against it. But I'm fine with the competition of poker. Can a person just be a poker dealer at a casino?
Yeah. They're different departments. People can transfer, but I've never heard of anyone doing both at the same casino.
Have dealt all over the country. not the orleans tho obv. I have never heard of a place that has a guaranteed down rate, pay more because of entries. More entries means more downs. if they don't hit the guarantee, do you get less? Tips, sure that's always on top of the down rate. But I would look more into the thing about going over the guarantee. It doesn't seem right. Dealers would essentially be freerolling. The casino has to pay out of pocket if they don't make enough to meet the down rate guarantee, but pay out the extra if it goes over. Typically they say they use any extra to pay for the discounted rooms or whatever perks dealers get, or say it's a reserve for when they don't hit the down rate guarantee. Like I said, I have never worked at orleans, so can't confidently say you got incorrect info. But I have dealt all over and never heard of a place that offers guaranteed downs, paying more than that guarantee. Absolutely wesome if they do, I'll look into dealing there next summer.

Do they do dealer add on when players enter for extra X amount of chips? If so, I would think that is where the extra pay is coming from, along with end of tournament tips, not the room sharing rake profits. If they are sharing rake profits for guarantee beats, that is a great gig.
Add-ons go totally to the prize pool. We have 1 weekly mtt that has an add-on.

You need to wear headphones at the table... you need to listen to more music your very irritable inside like me and I see that you become fanatical in a awesome way that soothes my nerves I just feel like your mind would relax better if you wore headphones to kind of like keep your high energy inner exuberation about boring stuff like me... it's about being content in life and it leads to being a better patient poker player.. basically like being or showing exuberation about the mundane stuff in life means your truly confident... do you like the rapper Curren$y? He'd put you in a mood that I think you'd like. He rapped with action bronson he's kind of like a similiar rapper to action like super cool and has like a aesthetic that is soothing for me and I think your similiar so might make you feel on the outside as cool as you are on the inside... and it could translate to easier time at the table..
It's cuz your super excited about pussy... so this leads to contentment and a chill persona.. facts bro LISTEN TO ME.. you gotta listen to curren$y at the table he's mad cool he's not like other rappers.. he'll bring you to the right level cuz just again FACTS Curren$y is a rapper and rappers are coolest so if you listen to Curren$y and not watch sitcoms more often than it'll literally bring you to the level your supposed to be at cuz your cooler than others so if you listen to curren$y it'll make u feel as cool as you are I'm 5/7 230lbs but we are good looking we know this we are like rappers but we gotta focus on making an alternate type of lifestyle you do it in a very cool way how you live an alternative lifestyle.. I commend you for being in Vegas but we both content so play patient good poker and don't care cuz we l9ve ourselves and don't play poker for money.. jussayn you remind me of me and think it would help you game if you listen to more music.
