Even though it was such a strong hand, I think folding kings in that spot was the right play. While not at the table with you (maybe someday), it really seemed like the two hands that made the most sense were QxJc or QxAc, that latter of which seemed more likely. Nice score and better luck for a deeper run next time.
Hey Ethan, do you have any videos on how you've built up your bankroll over the last few years? It's not been long since you were rolling in the 2/3 games and now you're a high roller! Got any useful tips for us regular folks?
This is a great strategy. Get people to buy action on stake kings so you can punt (win or lose is fine) so you can buy in with your own money and play well to cash and not have to give any away. Pretty crafty..
Question from my last tournament I played. I have 9 BB in the small Blind and the chip leader opens to 2.5 bigs on the button. I jammed with A5 HH . Is that a mistake ? She had A10 DD. I don’t want to be results oriented so just wanted to check
So he knows a red ace is bad. But let's say a club had hit. Now he's not sure if that was a good card or a bad card. That's why I'd rather get more in on the turn so I'm not in a bad river spot. This whole idea that he "only had to fade 2 aces" isn't so clear-cut as I see it.
hey rampage, I was so scared for you when you slowplayed that hand, might it have been a good Idea to bump it up more on the flop and shove on the turn ?
I thought you played masterfully, but I wish you called the shove with kings when the river was an ace. It's no easy call and either play can be argued as good or bad, but given the stack sizes, I'm always calling and falling on my sword. Anyway, congratulations and thanks for sharing.
@@savage9436 Thanks, that makes more sense. I was confused because it seemed like Ethan was talking about some players as if they counted more for a bounty if you knocked them out--but that's probably because the people shooting for them already had some bounties and would get the bonus.
Gotta love watching in my blanket sweatshirt at home while Ethan is wearing his lol. I might have called the kings hand if I knew how much Foxen had, just because it's a flip for next out. Either way such a horrible river card, jam before he calls with AQ, just don't feel the Ace hitting him calling all that way, unless it gave him 2 pair.
Hind sight, but on the turn with KK...wouldn't a jam be better?? 65k into 290k was begging for a call...could've put him in the blender anyways. Just a thought, maybe a bad one. Good job Ethan!!!
Yes i wss like WHAT THE FUCk.. he starts blabbering tHeres around 200 or more k in the middle and there is 200k or more in my stack so were going to….bet 65k … i literally yelled WTF LIVE BY THE SWORD DIE BY THE SWORD
Only afraid of 2 non club aces??? So there's zero chance his opponent was holding the Ac when he led out on the river??? ...I highly doubt that!!! The Ac is THE perfect candidate to check call, check call, lead river. Every street was a very small bet to pot ratio. We'll never know what his opponent had and if he COULD of gotten him off of it...but he'll, I play small buy-in tournaments...what do I know
I hate when I forget my suits and have to recheck after the flop on a suited board. I see that as the biggest tell that best case you only have one card that matches the three out there. Which makes a bluff or shove on the river easier when the fourth club doesn't come out
Don't give the KK fold a 2nd thought. Maybe shove turn w/SPR of 1, but then you may have gotten called anyway. A3d was a punt with the action in front of you. 12BB is time to wait for either a better hand or a chance to bet first.
To be fair it was 6.5BB and you could argue 3 BB with the ante but I still agree with you that it was a fold in that specific spot. There was even a chance that chip leader knocks Foxen out and you ladder up a spot, so for that reason alone it's a fold.
You seem like you're getting back into the swing of it after a few bad runs. Good post-game thoughts and not letting the negative mindset take over. Fair call with T9 on the flop but I'd run from aggression with the paired board on the turn. KK looked like good play to me with a possible Ac giving you nut flush - unlucky river but good fold IMO. Agreed A3 in SB was possibly a bit light but reasonable - I'd personally fold with enough seats in play and next round of blinds not posing an immediate threat to the stack. Definitely no "wrong" plays here - keep it up and gratz on bounties and the FT cash.
I am really proud of you !! You improved your Pokerplay only after some teaching leasons from me. I think some more advices from me and you will be able to win a small tournement.....Go on Rampage, go on...I will be by your side !!! Greatings from your Poker teacher
Spr less than 1, Kings with kc on a mono tone club flop the turn is is an all in 100% if he has a flush/nut flush it's ggs. Great video though nice result 👍
@@x4XaXi That man definitely deserves the pot if he shipped it with QJ, Q10 with a potential Jc or 10c. Unfortunately it seems like he never got to realize Ethan's true strength in that hand.
At the start of the vid - Q10o with two players all in effective behind you...why would you reshove with a hand like that? Is there some tournament bs I'm missing here with the bounties?
On the Kings hand; he coulda been slow play'n a flush w/o ace. Wait to see if the board makes a four flush in case the opponent is play'n the Ace, no four flush then jam. Something like J/T clubs where if there's one more club his hand ain't good but only 3 clubs and his flush wins. What do you think?

@@johnsonlong because he was short stacked and the guy wasn’t going to fold any A high to his jam, I believe
Shoutout to the guy at 12:00 for being so respectful after flopping a better hand and getting rivered. Guys like that make the game fun
that guy at 12:00 was a great sport. Loved his attitude.

I really enjoy the tournament vlogs keep them coming.💯💯💪🏽💪🏽👍👍
good fold with the kings... nice play
Will support AG1.
Love watching you.... your videos are awesome.... so inspiring!
yo Eth.. when your posting the video how you staked Nik airball???
Wondering on that KK - if you knew you'd be so conflicted on an Ah/d/s river, shouldn't you bet pot or jam turn?
I love the snuggie at the end lol.
So sweety yummy start Rampage ! Bravo !👍👍👍 !

I'm gonna reward all of you who watched all the way to the end by... selling you some merch. You slow-played the KK hand, especially on the turn.
Bounties are always fun. Way more aggro play.
I need Rampage1 energy drink. Where do we buy it?
Can’t wait for the new merch
I’ve legit never seen someone run like rampage

Love the tournament Vlogs
And we back baby
Let’s go love the vids, sick about the merch brother.
Great content as usual. You are my favorite poker vlogger. 👍
Nice video! Idk why you got so sticky on the 109 hand. Shoulda been a fold on the turn
hey rampage, I was so scared for you when you slowplayed that hand, might it have been a good Idea to bump it up more on the flop and shove on the turn ?
Yes. He misplayed it
Not really protecting against much. A non-club Ace or queen are the only ugly cards.
Wow AQ and JJ held up! 🥳
Thanks good content bro yu like the Jackie Chan the poker yu kick ass
Will you be in Vegas between July 10th and July 15th?
Needed to ship preflop with those Ks
Came a long way from the 10k punt awhile back. Can you make a short vid on the journey since then?
Good tourney! Congrats on the cash!
Looking back, do you think you should’ve jammed river on KK hand at final table?
Still, always nice to make the final table.
yes finally in america where video happen all the time
Around 19:40 with KK why not 3 bet shove? Just under 20 BB seems like a good size
Rampage is built for PKOs. He should definitely play them more often

What does the „7“ in UTG7 mean?
How do they keep track of the progressive bounties in a live tournament? I've only seen this tournament format online.
Doesn't the ultimate winner end up with all the bounties? Or am I not understanding how it works?
@@Seytom no, you get to keep whatever bounties you collected even if you dont win or even make final table
