This really resonates with me. I try to live by the following..." Do not judge critise or compare myself or others" ...applying the same to life situations (It is what it is)...What other people think of me is non of my business. I have found after years/ decades of people pleasing to feel accepted for who I am that in that process I actually really "lost" myself. I find not critising myself the hardest to conquer (that inner self chatter/monkey mind that can be quite destructive). To be authentic from a place of love and acceptance is key. So pleased it made sense and resonated for you lovely lady. Exactly you're spot on. I sometimes find I am my own worst and hardest critic. But when it's been shoved down our throats in all the wrong kinda ways ie competing against and measuring everything and you try to undo all of the societal views within you... it takes a lotta work hey. We truly get lost. And once we find the path of least resistance is just being our pure, authentic self, it's a truly peaceful, balanced and rewarding place to be..because finally you can just be you... and it matters not what anyone thinks as long as we are content. I could feel myself going too..... but then you put up the caption saying not to say to kids ‘I told you so’. I think you’re allowed to say it straight after you’ve said ‘Don’t do that, it’ll end In tears!!’ 🤣🤣 Totally agree hun, We’re here to find happiness and share that as far and wide as we can...... sometimes even to those that we may feel don’t deserve it 💺💺❤️ xxx
Well, it always made me feel better to say I told you so, to those around me who hate that I see things before they happen.😂🤣 But I know how defeated it can make a person esp after being at the brunt end of my mums I told you so's, ha ha. 🙃😁 Yeah, I think you can plant a seed where ever you go even if the recipient isn't appreciative of it in that moment. What is it that buddah says? Something about a wise man indeed is one who plants the seed of a tree but does not expect to sit under it's shade.... ⭐💖🙃🐱😄💜🐎🦄xx
