- It's been a wild ride! Thank you to the friends and fans that have supported me over the years.
In this episode we dive into a bit of my history within the automotive industry. The ups and downs and everything in between. I'm looking forward to the next chapter here on UA-cam.
Thanks to Cameron Hotchkiss with HOOTCH Creative & Culture for whipping this film up.

DED was the only show I watched on motortrend. It makes no sense they cancelled it. It was so unique, and you two had great chemistry. I am a long time loyal fan.
It’s a mystery to me still too
@@thedirtheadshed I couldn't agree more. I'm cancelling my MT subscription and subscribed to both Dave and Fred's UA-cam channels instead. Great work Dave!
@@drew20238 Can you tell me how to find Fred too? If I type "Fred" into the ol' Doobley Doo I just know it's going to give me a link to Grindr😅
Nevermind, I think I found him in the sidebar for once.
@@thedirtheadshedand "Truck U" is still a thing. SMH
Dave recalls every build as a "chance" or "opportunity" rather than a "job" or "task". That is true passion!
True!
The "bad editing and rambling" is what makes you human. We're all behind you (and Fred) as you guys are "rebooting" yourselves.
I like that part they can keep the 20 takes and scripted bs roll with it and roll over it if you're having fun making it it will be fun watching it
So stoked on how it’s working out. Thanks for the support
Keep up the great work! You're absolutely on point with making yourself relatable, and you're doing a killer job! I enjoy what you do because it's real and not overproduced corporate america. Just keep pushing, and you'll continue to achieve great things. Loved DED, but looking forward to following along in your future success!
Bottom line is Dave comes across as a Very genuine, real, good guy. In the day of the internet persona where it seems everything is fake, it’s a breathe of fresh air.
Thank you. I appreciate it
Absolutely.
I think the fact that you are still accessible after all this time and take the time to converse with us is awesome and much appreciated. I feel like I could reach out if I needed help which doesnt happen with a lot of folks these days. Keep being rad Dave!
Heck yeah. I try to keep up as best I can
Keep doin what you are doing, I think my first time I saw you was on a fab rats in Utah.
I looked for your channel and hit the subscribe button, I've enjoyed every video so far!
A guy that's not trying to impress anyone, just sharing your knowledge with others. A guy
I could hangout with, wrong side of the mountains though. TAKE CARE!
Exactly!
@@thedirtheadshed You and Fred are the best there is hands down! Can't wait to see what you guys move on to. Hopefully it is together.
I paid for the Motortrend subscription just for your show. If you guys have a new show I will be warming up the credit card!
I have been one to reach out and needed help with a part and Dave got right back with me and told me what I needed. There’s not many people like that left. Thanks for all the information and entertainment.
Keep the Dirthead Shed alive for as long as you can! You are so relatable, which makes your content 10x more interesting than high production cost shows or channels.
I canceled my motor trend subscription when DED was cancelled and don’t miss it one bit. I wish you tube would make you guys more $$ but glad you guys are still showing us what’s up 🤙
I appreciate the support. UA-cam will get there hopefully. Slow and steady
I can already feel this is going to be one of my favorites UA-cam channels.
I’ll try!
I watch all of the car shows, because I'm a car nut. That being said lots and lots of the guys are posers with a TV gig. You are REAL. Keep it real, that's what we are here for. Loved DED and love your UA-cam show.
Glad you’re enjoying it!
I think one of the many things that made DED so great was not just their skills and experience but their friendship that made the show so fun to watch. Some of the funniest things I’ve seen in car related shows were in DED in their dialog with each other and when things didn’t go as planned how they handled it and would joke about things. You can’t simply pay writer for a show to give that kind of authenticity! I am very grateful to have been around experience this show! Fred and Dave are treasures in the Offroad automotive world and will always bring great value to those that enjoy their content. Keep up the good work Dave! 😊
Thanks so much! It was a great dynamic
I'm glad to see you showing up in guest appearances with Freiburger, Finnegan, Dulcich, and Derek. I was bummed to see DED get axed, but happy to see you still circulating.
With love from a Canadian Dirthead.
cancelling DED was a shock to all of us! Miss seeing you guys but glad I get to watch you on here. Thanks for all those episodes of awesomeness and for keeping such an accessible, relatable attitude.
Thanks so much for the years of support!
Dude, you’re one of the few in your position that regularly interacts with comments. Even if it’s just a like or one word, it shows you appreciate us as much as we appreciate you. I wish you continued success in the future.
Thanks. It’s definitely a hustlr
Thank you Dave. Thank you for everything you have done. Thank you for continuing to grow and stay humble. The “Dirt Heads” have gotten me through some of the hardest times of my life. Loss of family brother and mother. 29 surgeries and multiple hospitalizations. I appreciate everything you guys have done. Your shows were pure entertainment and learning. I am forever grateful.
Im going to miss DED but I’m so glad you guys are on UA-cam. I’ve learnt so much from you and Fred
Thanks for following along
@@thedirtheadshed Gonna keep following too! You are the man Dave!
You sir are too humble. You and Fred and both amazing and are/were a joy to watch exactly as you are/were. Nothing but respect for the both of you. Miss DED, but you did go out on top.🤘🤘
Looking back now, it was a really good run
@@thedirtheadshed Indeed. Is there any chance that the two of you would ever do another show? I’m watching your content either way. I often thought you guys would be an awesome pair to do an over landing type of show. Something real though, without all the bs drama that many shows have. You guys could build rigs and show cool places for the “average man” to go. I bit like ultimate adventure, but kind of off the beaten path. That would be awesome IMO. Just an idea. Respect sir. Thank you for your time to reply.
I have always wanted more Dave content! This is so awesome! I am glad you are here!
Thanks you!
I thought you said you didn’t know how to edit or do any camera stuff. This looks great!!
My friend Cameron was in charge of this one
@@thedirtheadshed keep Cameron! Lol
It really sucks that they canceled Dirt Everyday, but really glad you started this channel. As a HS grad in ‘95, I can definitely relate to you & Fred. Mini-trucks, Jeeps, topless Bronco’s playing in mud, it was all a part of my growing up, learning experiences.
Loving the content this far, and good luck with this new endeavor.
'94 grad here. Right there with you. Except I was always a drag racer with a "Jeep Family" friend who helped me wrench. I was always jealous of them going on all these off road adventures. Funny how things work out. He ended up building a ProStock car touring the country and I got my girls into wheeling some, intially by watching the Dirt Heads first episodes. Fred & Dave are the best father-daughter-bonding instigators ever!
I will be there, Dave. I feel that you are one of the most talented fabricators out there. Please don't ever stop.
Dave you seem like a 200% legit dude. I'm really happy there's nice fellers like u out there helping ppl in the automotive culture, well just in life in general. Good on ya!
Thanks!
God….. I miss you and Fred. I also was devastated by the cancellation of DED. The friendship between you and Fred was evident from your first show together. I also think your humility and honesty also was very evident on camera. I have resorted to watching reruns over & over. I just remember something that maybe you had a channel. Well Dave…. I just subscribed and eagerly await new content. Thanks so much for the time filming and editing. Keep up the good work.
P.S. I’m 80 yrs old, live in suburban Philly and own a minivan! Please don’t hold that against me.
Hey man. I am just happy to have you here. Hope you enjoy this channel. It’s pretty low budget compared to the DED days
Smile once in a while Dave, we believe in you brother! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍😊
I try, I try
Holy crap. This video is amazing. Cam, you're killing it as usual!!! Dave you are so inspirational you only know the half of it. I will never ever forget the day you did the exhaust on my TJ, I believe we met maybe just sooner than this. You ended up hacking off the hushpower muffler on Tommys UA Bronco with fiberglass fenders and putting it on mine. I remember seeing this Bronco buggy on UA and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Me, being an absolute UA nut, was absolutely shocked when you suggested this. Since then, I was blown away when you started co-hosting DED with Fred. Double blown away when I got to spend 2 week long trips in our 4x4s for UA. Since then it's been incredible to watch you grow as a person, fabricator and friend. You have done a lot (super jealous).... mini trucks, DED, King of the Hammers, Ultimate Adventure etc.... truly an honor to consider you a friend. If for some reason I know something about a specific subject that you dont know, my phone is always ready to take that call. Until the next trail I see you on, cheers dude!!! KEEP YOUR STORY GOING, YOU'RE AWESOME!!! #DirtHeadDave #DirtHeads
Thanks Mike! I’m still pushing. Sorry it took so long to see this message. I appreciate your support buddy
I can’t tell you how upset not only me but my son was when we found out DED was canceled. I’m happy for some of the new shows on MT but I feel like they cut out one of the most entertaining shows.
You and Fred have become familiar voices in our house similar to how John Davis or the Shadetree Mechanics were for me growing up, and I’ll always support you two. And I’m glad that you’re still passing off information as you’re able to.
Thanks for the support. Ded is done but we will still move forward
Dave your personality and relationships with other 4wd dudes will carry you wherever y’all want to go. You’ve got the know how and experience to do anything. Keep your chin up and do what YOU want to do.
And bring Fred around pls
Will do. Thanks for the support
Thanks for the years, Dave! You and Fred are two of my faves. While I wish you could do more with Fred, your recent collabs on MT w/ DF and Derek were great! Always look forward to your YT.
Thanks! I would like to work with him again as well
I don't off road; I don't like getting cold or wet, I don't even have a driving license.
But I loved watching two funny, and sincere guys doing something they loved.
Thanks! Glad you got some joy from the show
There is no denying that you Fred and you went out on top. What is hard for us the fan base is that it was such a good show! The chemistry between you and Fred made the show! We all still want to see you guys together doing this crazy thing. We arent ready to let it go....
Having lost a long term job in the recent past due to circumstances outside of my control, I can definitely relate to the gut punch that gives you. Honestly, shortly after hearing the shocking news of the dirt everyday cancelation... I was like, WooHoo! Fred and Dave are going to be on UA-cam!!!
Dave you are a honest true craftsman, it has been cool to see other hosts drag you into their projects for your expertise and skills. You build it buddy and we will watch ❤️❤️
I appreciate that! Thanks for the support
My son and I have been following you since the first episode you showed up on DED. We've learned so much and use that in our own shop every weekend. You've been a huge inspiration man!
That’s awesome! Glad you are enjoying the journey
Tons of respect for you dude. Super genuine and that’s rare these days
I will forever miss dirt every day, been a fan since the very beginning.. but the fact that you guys are still uploading content for us is incredible, you can tell this is truly what you guys like to do. We will support you no matter what!
Much appreciated. I hope your are enjoying the channel
@@thedirtheadshed I am loving the channel!
Dave, you are awesome, personable, and helping others all the time!
Those are what make you great and a good inspiration for us to emulate
I appreciate that. Thanks
Daves just a good guy. Rock Craw on Brother
Thanks!
I think what made dirt every day so good was just how genuine and true to yourselves both you and Fred always were. I’m confident that if you just let that shine through this channel will continue to grow and be as great as it has been.
Don’t thank us, THANK YOU!! Thank you for helping us at home wrenches get motivated to continue doing what we actually love to do. Sometimes when I have a day off I don’t get in the garage right away, then people like you post a video that is inspiring and I’m out there with time ripping by, loving every moment of it. I couldn’t believe the one time i messaged Fred on my R2.8 project ,and he replied! You guys are so dope and we all wish the best for you both
As another long time fan of DED, I was crushed when it ended. A year after this video was released, I'm finally seeing it. I want to weigh in: I've become a bigger fan of yours with every video. You come across as a humble, genuine and talented guy that I'd happily invite into my shop any day. Keep crushing UA-cam, man. We appreciate you.
Thanks so much!! I’m kinda digging this UA-cam platform too
Dirt Everyday is the ONLY automotive show my wife will watch with me and loves Dave & Fred. Fun, funny and personable. She will be sad to hear the news and I'm bummed.
Don’t be sad. Change may be a good thing
Thank you for bringing us along on this next stage of your career!
This is gonna Ruffle some feathers I’m sure but this has to be the best content I’ve ever seen from you. Fred and you are both in a lot better place now. Keep it Rad Dave and thanks for your wisdom it’s earned not given.
Dave: Dirt Every Day is the greatest offroad show of all time. Period. It's not even close. My boys and I watched every show. I canceled my MT subscription the same day I found out it was cancelled. I've subscribed to both you and 4xFredWilliams because y'all are the best. Unsolicited I know, but you two as a duo are incredibly engaging. Ole Jeremy Clarkson is super talented, but he knows that sharing the screen with May and Hammond creates something even richer than him alone. I hope to see you two team up again, because its magic when you two are together on screen.
I appreciate that so much. Thanks for all the support along the way.
DED was fun. Selling labor to pay the bills….. I left my job as a Mazda service manager, got into the turbo scene(in 1990), had somebody else steal my notoriety, and send me back to my love of flying. Thanks John H. Really, thanks.
Now I’m retired from flying, back to building stuff. It’s a jeep CJ10, 1 tons, ZF s42(like moms spaghetti). And the chopped, sectioned, slammed 49 Chevy in the background. 15:01
Do what you love to be happy man. And if getting rich makes you happy, good luck.
Mostly, do what you love.
I’m doing it. And it’s working pretty well. Definitely not getting rich. But that’s alright
It’s amazing how far a good attitude can’t take you. Whether it’s building relationships or cars.
True that
It'd be really awesome to see a bunch of in-depth videos on all your rigs! Super stoked that you have the freedom to make the content you want.
The best Dave Chapelle since the other guy! Cancelling Dirt Every Day was the dumbest decision Motortrend has ever made. Just inconceivable. I love that show so much, so relaxing and I just could not stop smiling every episode.
That’s awesome. I’m a little baffled still as well
Dude, spot on. I met you in the parking lot of Hell's Revenge at EJS (cowboy hat, light blue '74 CJ5 wheeling w the flatfenders) and you walked right up and said hi. Incredible.
Right on. You have a rad Jeep!
Your and Freds down to earth and approachable personalities are what made DED so spectacular. While it sucks that it got canceled, it’s also exciting to see where you guys go from here.
Super inspirational, thanks for the words. Cam is killer with the video work too, it’s great he’s able to help you out.
Solid dude!
Watching you and Fred is better than the polished truck shows they used to run on weekends because Authenticity beats polish every time.
I agree. Those are hard to watch
I was so sad when they cancelled you and Freds show. Im glad to see still you getting guest appearances on some of the shows! I loved the VGG videos with on there. Keep grinding Dave
I’m hustling them out!
Went to high school with Dave. He’s spot on with his account of how he started. Glad to see him doing well!
Thanks!
You guys have given me the confidence to work on so many of my own rigs and I really appreciate that. I know I’m not the only one. Ya’ll are awesome and like many others here, can’t wait to see what’s next for you guys. Thanks for being you and doing what you do!
Still pushing!
I'm looking forward to all of your content Dave!! It was a BLOW to all of us when the news broke on Dirt Every Day. Dirt Every Day has pulled me through 10 weeks of a nearly bed ridden COVD trip! I really don't know what I would have done without you and Fred. We all just love you guys and the content you give to us! You guys were missed and now we have you back! Editing will improve over time I would not concern yourself with that. We'd be happy with one cut cell phone videos!! Love to see you back!
So glad to have you all on board and helping support me
Dave, you are the reason I got my first gen Tundra this year. I am a fabricator and have always had a passion for automotive culture. I enjoyed the ride and look forward to the next chapter....
Right on! Keep doing your thing!
Such a kind and humble person. Can’t wait to see what you do Dave, good luck.
Thank you. I look forward to it too.
Even though we have never had the luxury of meeting, I thank you for an amazing adventure. Over the years while watching you and Fred building different types of rigs, it has inspired me to build a rig and get out & explore the unknown. Again, thank you and keep producing awesome content.
Oh… and please tell us that MT didn’t stick you two with NCC/CNC restrictions.
There’s a little of that. But it’ll be short lived
I still own my first truck. It was owned by a family friend. He had already lost his legs and his health was going downhill quickly due to diabetes. I was 14 and I spent a summer working for free just to help. At the end of the summer I was the proud second owner of a 1961 Willis CJ that was half military spec. Love that truck
Nice work!
No better word than Relatable. It’s why I thoroughly enjoy guys like you, Fred and Freiburger. The amount of knowledge and willingness to share in a way that is genuine is what will keep you relevant.
I appreciate that
Very welcome. Also really enjoy the how diverse your projects are and can relate. Keep the content coming!
Good video!!
Thank you
Dave you and Fred are the best. Anyone that watched the show know that you guys were genuine and friends. However made the decision to cancel the show made a very big mistake.
I am glade that you and Fred are doing the UA-cam thing and I will watch.
Thanks again you and Fred are great Dirt Heads.
Thank you
Dude, I'm not into Offroad, 4X4s, Crawling or any of that stuff, but I was SOOO bummed when MT cancelled DED. As a car guy who loves building stuff and appreciates the hands-on, affordable approach to building whatever you want, you and Fred were really important to me. So glad to see you moving ahead and being positive and fired up. You and Fred are my absolute second favorite 4X4 dudes, just behind Moog and Marty at "The Worlds Best 4WD Channel!", Mighty Car Mods, AND you're a close second as funniest Dave Chappelle. I'm gonna' watch anything you do as long as you wanna' keep sharing it.
FULL SPEED AHEAD BROTHER! Say "hey" to Fred for me if you think about it
Much appreciated! Thanks for your support
Not sure if you'll see this but my name is Dylan, im a 22 yr old that is exactly like you, and this breaks my heart to see such a great thing come to an end, I grew up watching you guys and I loved every bit of it, I will continue to try and support you guys as much as I can, you were always an inspiration to me
I appreciate the support. No sweat. Im gonna keep making moves on here
@@thedirtheadshed good to hear, I'll be watching!!
You're one of a kind Dave, keep making things. They will come
Personally I would rather have you on UA-cam - so much easier to watch the content and I feel like we get more of your personality. So excited to have you here!
Thanks. Hope you’re still liking it
My all time favorite episode has to be the 4 x 4 motorhome when you flipped it doing donuts, just the amount of fun and laughter, hands down the best!
That was a wild day
I loved DED. No more MT for me. The channel turned into garbage. UA-cam is great. Keep the show going.
Dirt every day really shaped my interests when I was younger and it was such a fun show to look forward to watching. Thank you for all the work you did and shared with the world!
Dirt everyday was the best show ever made if you ask me. You and Fred did an amazing job. Thanks for sharing your story
Thanks for the support
Built old hot rods most of my life. Started watching you fellas, now I have three off-road vehicles. Early Bronco for sand dunes, 72 Jimmy big block for trails in Michigan, 2001 Ram 3/4 ton standard cab short bed for trails in Kentucky and Tennessee. I was very upset when they cancelled Dirt Everyday. The only show left on Motortrend that didn't have a bunch of wasted time advertising products that most of us would never use. I hope a network has enough sense on putting you and Fred back on another show. Keep up the great work though.
Thanks for your support! Hopefully you get those rigs out soon
The Metal Maestro! Watching you fab anything is magic, amazing talent Dave keep it up!
I'm a 70's SoCal kid so obviously you had me with the word "RAD"! Since the first issue of JP (sub'ed till the very last issue) it seems like you and Fred are old friends even though I have never met either one of you... though my wife and I were once sitting a table away from you guys in a restaurant (Pasta Jays?) in Moab years ago. Anyway, you are a Rad Dude, keep it up and I sincerely hope that this UA-cam thing pays off big time for you and your family! 😎
Thanks for the kind words!! Now I’m bummed I didnt go to pasta jays at all this EJS
I, like other's are really going to miss DED, but I enjoy watching the way you fabricate things, and making things that never existed before.
I miss it too! Time to make cool stuff out of my garage now
We're not going anywhere. Thank you! I'd love to see more fabrication stuff geared towards beginners but will also watch whatever you create. Don't feel pressured to make a million videos, just keep being Dave.
I’m working on it!
Dave loved you and Fred on DED - their decision (loss) is our gain. Looking forward to learning and supporting you guys. All the best
Thanks for the support
Dave, I will never forget the time I introduced myself to you in Walmart in El Cajon. You were so nice and down to earth while I was starstruck. I will follow your contact anywhere. You are an amazing dirt head dude and thank you for what you do.
Thanks for continuing to watch!
I want to thank you and Fred , Morontrend's loss and I pray it's a gain for both of you , I know that you two sharing your knowledge with us is certainly a huge benefit to all of us , rad on guys........
Thanks for your support
I have said it before and I’ll say it now. The following you and Fred have is because both of you earned the respect of your fans.
Dave, you are helping to shape the future of the off road community. No pressure! Haha.
I’m trying to do it right!
Thanks for not giving up after DED went away! You're good people Dave!
Thank you. I feel like I’m not done yet
So accurate about being relatable. I feel like Matt Wetzel of Matt’s off road recovery is just like Fred and yourself. Super easy to watch, super humble. Just like watching a good friend. I watch other off road recovery you tube stuff, some are good but some are hard to watch.
I appreciate that. I’ll find my groove here hopefully
Dave and Fred are my heroes. Living the life I wish I could with the skills I wish I had. Maybe one day I can get there. Life happens while you're busy making plans.
You’re making your own history without knowing it
The fact that you and Fred are so personable are why you guys received so much support after that BS cancelation. You guys are known across the country and I have commented several times on social media and yet you're responded many times. You two are both the tv wrenches of the people. Therefore the people have your back lol!
It’s pretty crazy how big DED became. Pretty cool to be a part of
Hey, Dave. You and Fred are my favorite UA-cam guys. I looked forward to your apprearances in the early days of Dirt Every Day. I used to say, "Do they realize how funny Dave is? Does Dave realize how funny Dave is?". You guys have great energy ad even better chemestry.
Love it! Thanks for the support!
You’re absolutely right about communicating and networking. Dave, if you ever need a hand turning wrenches, wherever you’re at, you’re always welcome to hit up anyone in the Gambler community.
For sure! Thanks Robert
Dave, you and Fred always made me feel, as a viewer, like a friend. Both of you talk to your audience, bringing them into the situation, not at your audience. I looked forward to every episode of DED. I was very surprised and disappointed when i heard about the show being cancelled. So glad you both have channels so we can keep living our dreams of playing in the dirt through you both. #DirtHeadsRule!
Thanks so much. It’s gonna be fun to see where it ends up
We will always support you and Fred. Sincerely, The Dirtheads
Thanks for your support
I watch shows on motor trend, but my favs are roadkill and dirt every day. Ive ben a fan all along. I remember petersons 4 wheel and offroad back to 78 when some guy living on bliss road in Sarasota Florida had a brown and yellow custom bronco with the company Logo on the doors! He I believe was the original editor. Anyway. You Dave and Fred are awesome and I'm a real fan! I'll follow You, and him together or separately. I've really enjoyed the show. I also enjoy seeing you guest host on roadkill. My other favorite show. You guys, all of you have had a great impact on the audience. We are your friends wherever you go. Thats whats real! On roadkill they break down and a fan helps! Its great! That's America! Thats reality!
Thank You Dave!
Thank You Fred!
Thanks so much for the support!!
I commend you for tweaking on this new chapter with a champion like attitude and heart. You are an inspiration, your ideas work ethic and caliber of product are unmatched on UA-cam.
Networking works on UA-cam just like it has in life.. when the dust settles you and Fred need to be seen together on occasion here on UA-cam. Keep the dirt heads dirt-ing. Give us a hope that friendships and off road still exist in one place.
You will do well. Thanks for continuing to let us tag along.
Thanks for joining. Hope you are digging it
I have been watching 4x4 shows for years. From Xtreme 4x4 with Jesse (RIP) and Ian all the way up to Dirt Everyday. I have learned so much but never really been able to apply any of it. Moving with the Military has always had me saying "I'll start my own build when we stop moving." Finally that time has come. I've been thinking of what to build and there are so many options! The important thing is watching specifically, guys like Fred and Dave, has given me the confidence to just jump in and start something. Im a shit welder but practice will fix that. Thanks for giving us newb's the inspiration and confidence to go out and have fun trying new things.
Miss Dirt Everyday.... everyday...
I miss it too. Glad you are ready to get building. Keep it simple. Have fun with it
Bummed. I just learned today that DED has come to a close. My apologies for being out of the loop. With that said I also learned today of The Dirt Head Shed show and am SO stoked to be able to still watch Dave and continue to love and learn this dirt lifestyle.
Right on. Don’t feel bad, I appreciate the continued support
Love ya brother! Keep sharing and we'll keep watching!
Much appreciated!
I, like many, will continue following both of you here on YT. I hope that the two of you can continue to collaborate on projects together.
Me too. Thank you
Im an old guy. Dirt bikes, Mini Trucks, Dune buggies, more dirt bikes and now jeeps. I watch you, Fred and many others just so I can apply your experience(s). Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
@@thedirtheadshed every episode
At least twice 👍
Me and my 3.5 year old loved watching Dirt Every Day (still re-watch them), the show helped form my sons interest in off-roading, so much so that we went out and got him a little battery powered Side by side that i cannot keep him out of!. we will continue to watch this channel, keep up the good work Dave!👍
Good to hear! Thank you
Once a mini trucker always a mini trucker, it stays with you and so do the friends.
At one time people thought our trucks were just hacked up and thrown together. Now these same guys are the top builders. Keep up the awesome work dude!
(Still have my Local Finesse banner in my garage 🤙🏻)
Nice! Thats true. We are the current generation of old school hot rodders.
Thank you Dave for the willingness to share your skills. You have given all of us some great ideas on builds.....as well as how to be "just a good dude" that people want to gravitate too.
😎
Much appreciated. Thanks!
This dude. No need to run your mouth about how awesome you are - let your actions announce that. That's good advice for everyone. I'm looking forward to see what you've got coming up.
that's one way to put it.. Thanks for the support Wes.
Dave you're a stand up guy, a fantastic fabricator and builder, and I wish you all the best and incredible success.
I appreciate that
Dave, what a great story! I can't tell you I was an avid fan but I now have the utmost respect for you and your SOLID skills! Your level of natural communication makes it easy to watch and enjoy seeing what you do. I was not really into 4 x 4s but fast forward a few years later and I now have 4! I have enough projects to fool around with that I have lots of content to explore lol. I really have learned (like you said) a bunch and have to thank you for showing me that it's not really VODOO what you do but it is possible for us normies. Sucks to hear about DED getting cancelled but when one door closes another one opens. Thank the lord for all you have and be ready for the next adventure! Wish I wasn't so damn far away but not too likely you would be down Texas area. If you do get this way someday in the future would be an honor to shake your hand and say thanks! Now for the car guy stuff.....I was a musclecar guy until I got the itch and now I have two vices.....4x4s and old GTOs. It's a sickness.. Anyways, thanks again and best of luck to you sir!
Right on. Thanks for the support and and the kind words
