Awesome video! We are looking to regear our 92 explorer and if you guys were anywhere near us we would have you guys work on it. We might try it ourselves but we don't have the tools.
My wifes jeep just broke 5 teeth on the rear pinion. She has 4.56, and she runs a 38. So now luckily me, I get to spend my holiday week re gearing both her axles to 5.13s. This will be the first time I have done a ring and pinion myself. So hopefully, I don't mess it up too bad 🤣🤣 I enjoyed the video as well by the way.
@Freedom Four Wheel well it was successful. I was able to install 5.13s with a rear mechanical locker. With no issues, and everything is driving great.
It drives so much better now! Thanks for the awesome work on the regear!
Absolutely! Happy to hear that!
Thenwoverlander do you have a Instagram account?
Explained perfect!!
No unnecessary crap. I’ll be doing mine this week lol
Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing. This video was useful 👌

Can you list all needed tools aside from basics etc… like the measuring tool for the teeth.
Where does the washer go? It seems like it should be somewhere in the rear of the pinion but it doesn't show it here
Coast side looks a hair deep
