    I just got back from where you were. I recognized the bridge in the background. So what happened? This is obviously a resort area. We stayed in the Sheraton not too far away. My friend in the actual city of Huizhou set us up with the arrangements. My videos will be uploaded soon.

    That kitchen on the first apartment is as big as an iPad. 😅 My guess £300K. Great video buddy.

      You're only about 200K off. About 120,000 pounds for that style with the tiny kitchen

    Thanks for sharing the video. Did you find one with an ocean view? I travel there often and it is a good deal for the price. I am trying to return to Shenzhen but the process is difficult for foreigners.

    Great video. I don't know your particular circumstances and reasons but guessing its your first property in China please do more research. I'm no expert but IDK that for new apartments, there are mainly 2 types: Type 1 - 70yr lease residential or Type 2 - 40yr lease commercial/residential. Each sub district of each city can also have slightly different buying eligibility rules and mortgage criteria. These rules can change in an instant. Usually, its more strict for foreigners. But if you do meet the criteria, usually its for properties that are in less demand, (like the ones shown in this video), so you could end up with property that you can't sell or find difficult to rent. For Huizhou city, look at SZ bordering areas that will be connected with SZ metro lines in 2 yrs (Huiyang: SZ metro line 14 and 19; and Dayawan: SZ metro line 16). For example, the SZ metro line 14 is an express route (similar to line 11, so trains can travel at speeds up to 120kmh and effectively connects stations Shatian (right on the border of Huiyang) to Ganxiabei (Central Futian) in 45mins. These lines are all underground and under construction now. Type 1 apartment prices on the Huiyang side are rmb15-20k /m and I don't even need to tell you how much they are on the SZ side of Pingshan just across the street plus the rules are relaxed in Huiyang. For relaxed rules, also look at Zhongshan which will be connected to SZ via the 25km bridge to be completed in 2025 and PLANNED underwater metro lines connecting to SZ airport. Prices start at rmb12k. And Nansha (part of GZ, more expensive rmb20K+ but relaxed rules). Forget Dongguan - too pricey 30k+ and rules are now strict since 2020 (although I would consider Type 2 apartments (due to softer rules except no mortgage for foreigners) in central DG locations near SZ or near stations that can get you to SZ in a whiff for under 20k eg Changan, Binhaiwan, Tangxia). Look at the baidu maps and do your research on the Bay Area. Never rush, but now should be a good time because in last few months, it seems the p. market is depressed, but things could change in an instant (say by June??).

      Thanks for the info! Will definitely look deeper into it, if I end up considering purchasing property here.

    Wow...that's really reasonable price. I have a friend who has an apartment of the same size, 3 bedrooms in Shanghai costs more than RMB 5 million!

    I see a ton of video clips of pedestrians getting killed by car crashes and or construction accidents.. Is it as common as it is portrayed?

      I haven't seen any personally, but like any country I'm sure there are a lot of car crashes and construction accidents, but I don't know the total amount.

    What about the difference in renting a place like that vs buying?

    • @AaroninChina
      @AaroninChina  2 роки тому

      Renting should be pretty cheap. But buying (if the property market doesn't crash) should be better in the long run.
