as a citizen who has lived in SZ for 20+ years, i am happy to see you guys enjoy days here :)
You all probably dont care but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Ayden Harry instablaster =)
The view on the place she ended up choosing looks really nice!
We actually live in that complex! In one of the gated buildings. Love, love the area!
The apartment she signed for has great views. I’ll be moving in about 2 months to Futian, so I’m mentally preparing myself to pay double in rent 😂.
Sounds pricey but u will sure be getting an awesome view at those skyscrapers if u get place in Futian district
@@nehcooahnait7827 I agree!
Love the heart shaped mirror!
this apartment reminds me the life in shenzhen .I am an OG OCTer, raised in shenzhen went to sz middle school. now in Kansas.usa. Man, shenzhen is for kids to swag. apartment living is insane. I lived in some really cool spots, but not for long term, long term is impossible to live.
So nervous for finding an affordable apartment when I finally get to Shenzhen!
Don’t worry something will pop up! Or grab some roommates
man I love Shenzhen especially shekou. just such an amazing city
This is amazing! I'm ready to move to Shenzen. Where do I start ☺
My old hood! Lol. Thanks for bringing me back. I used to teach at ISNS in nanshan. I lived on Nanhai Lu near peninsula. Is that Rose Garden?
Haha that's awesome, where are you now? And its not but rose garden is still the most convenient for expat food!
@@pbjofficial Thanks! I'm in Chicago now. Ever been there? 😊
When this video started and they said Shekou, I was thinking my old building there was great, I hope they find it. Shuiwan1979!!! Great gym next door (Panatta). Good market underground next door (Hema?) Great Thai food across the street. Some neighborhood bars/restaurants just outside of SeaWorld that are good, but not as busy/crazy as SeaWorld. Short walk to SeaWorld and another great market (Ole), movies, tons of dining options. Great neighborhood.
Sounds so great. What a wonderful world!
Yeah ...... I moving to Shenzhen within a month too, and would like to live in the same disctrict right near Shekou, appartments are nice. Prepared budget is also near 7000-8000 rmb /month. Thanks for the video review.
I’m moving just out of Shenzhen I believe it’s Shiyan. Do you know if there is a metro from there to main Shenzhen centre?
That landlord lady ha
Have many words to describe
I'm planning to move myself by August/September.
Would 7,000 be enough for nice places such as this in a good similar central-ish district near a metro? (Nice = renovated, spacious, modern bathroom, equipped kitchen (more than the average low cost ones))
Ya I think you could find something similar or a nice studio. Just got to spend some time viewing apartments!
The apartment front doors look like reinforced vault doors.
Which teaching job (agency) did you choose to send you to china?? Im looking to do the same thing, but all im seeing is either provided accommodation or a higher salary and no accommodation. You can get a housing allowance too?
She's been here a couple years so got her job through a friend referral. Try looking up GICexpat on wechat they post teaching jobs there, and you can always try to negotiate housing allowance into your contract if you would like
I’m moving to Shenzhen in a few weeks (then after quarantine of course) but I’m supposed to be teaching in Futian. I’ve noticed how pricy it can get so would you kindly recommend any good districts to look for cheaper apartments but with good connections/commute to the city?
I’m only getting 4000rmb for Housing allowance soooo I’d like to keep it at that or 5000 max😅 is that realistic?? Thanks again and great content !
congrats! when i lived in futian (near jingtian station) my rent was 5400 for a pretty new building you can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/BlwSRs7cGbM/v-deo.html
4000rmb housing allowance is awesome. I'd recommend you stay in the same district as wherever you're working since commuting is a pain. honestly if you live somewhere near a subway station you're good to go.
Hi. Finally in Shenzhen...actually day 8 of quaratine. Do you have an agent you could reccomend? I will be at Basis in Sheko. Thanks!
This apartment is so great with only 5000. Also, it's close to the metro station and convient.
1600 Aussie a month not big apartments for sure, compared to Thailand for prices
Here im new subscriber
Wow, those apartment are expensive for the size.
Appreciate if you recommend any nice service hotel apartment in Shenzhen? I am looking for a trip to Shenzhen soon and would like to stay there a month.

The town I’m in has a ton of one bedrooms! And studios
Hey where are you based?
Why so many places in SZ still uses electric water heaters 😣 hate it. Even those obviously well decorated apartments use it.
5000RMB housing allowance is quite a nice offer
Yeah when I heard the price range is like 8k I was like holy shit; but makes sense with that 5000 housing allowance and she only needs to pay 3000, which is, very affordable... even for an Assembly worker in SZ (they wouldn’t actually do that cuz they wanna save as much as possible...)
I love how even though the apartments are smaller than some western standards, they seem a lot more economic with the space.
Hi. Which website can I use to find apartments in China? Thanks
So is this the hotel room?? 😭😭
hey i was thinking of moving to longhua district
i want a medium bathroom, a quite spacious kitchen a living room and must have a balcony
do you think i can find one for 5000rmb?
i don't care about the commute
i want cafe, supermarket at walking distance from my house but I'm ok if it's 1 hour from the centre
Ya I have a friend who lives in longhua in a newer complex and I’m pretty sure the apt is attached to a mall with the amenities you mentioned so it’s possible! Not sure how much the rent is though
Im able to find you an apartment. Do you have wechat?
We r planning to retire in China . . .
Is that Brazilian girl in the video?
What's your friend name
In order to provide my son with more choices, I bought a small apartment in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Richmond.
Wow I’m jealous! All the places I’d like to have an apartment. I’m from richmond 😂
@@pbjofficial Haha, I guess you are from Vancouver, too.BC's house price is too high now, fortunately I bought home before 2010.
Are you an American that moved to China?
Canadian!
lol, run away
the "housing" for construction workers hurt my heart.
Like being in a box or jail
It costs over 1 million USD to buy a "jail" at that area
@@arthurhuangzhuo4829 How true it's a joke.
Oh no I totally don’t expect this kinda ‘down to earth comment’ from a person using a photo of a swimming pool as profile picture.
@@nehcooahnait7827 still small for what u pay
@@Snip59 100million even cheap in Shenzhen..and u can buy a villa in some distant places and the price maybe cheaper than this apartment
