Sometimes, Human stupidity is also scary.
Which is boring and unimaginative! We here and see information about the terrible things humans do every day! So hearing the same old clichés about human monsters is the easiest thing to write about, but the hardest for me to listen too! I'll turn the world news back on if I want to hear and see Human monsters, which nothing about them shocks me anyways. Ge me a good old fashioned fictional monster story over any type of human monsters any day of the week!

@@maximumeffort78 you goofy ppl have no Fin' clue. There are things that roam this earth that are far scarier than any human serial killer, stalker, maniac etc...you just haven't ran into any of them...yet. when you do if you do I bet you won't leave anymore stupid comments like this one.
This is one of the best creepypastas I've heard. Usually the side characters are either boring, or only exist to make the main character mad when they die. Caroline, though... Caroline was just downright saucy, from beginning to end. I loved it.
I wouldn't exactly call her a side character. She's not the 1 writing the story, but has way more development than the antagonist.
@@Doggypaddle8 You are partially right. Very insightful that you'd point out her development. She is certainly more pleasant than the narrator or the villain, but I would still define her as a side character. If we go exclusively off of the movies, Gandalf has more development than Sauron. However, Gandalf doesn't initiate the plot, and he's not the one providing color commentary on everything that happens. He remains a side character. That is the role which Caroline most easily fills, as the villain is the one driving the plot and the narrator is the one recording it. This line of thought does lead to another truth, though, and this is that archetypes are limited. We might say that the "grizzled detective" is an archetype, but as a character becomes more and more fleshed out, they become less recognizable as their archetype. Caroline's ending, where she chooses to take critical action of her own accord is what best breaks her out of that "side character" archetype. Thank you for commenting; I loved this little discussion.

We got a TRIFECTA of awesomeness this time: a great new story, a new character voice, AND, perhaps most importantly, he brought back the voice of the "ISN'T"! That's another one of his best pastas. I think It's called (My Grandmother came from Ireland and something followed her). Definitely check it out.

Go Caroline! Gaslight, Girlboss, Power Drill. But seriously I love the ones where the characters fight back. You narrated another one where the main dude goes ham on the monster. About a hole in his basement.
The feelings of Caroline is understandable. I had a stalker for 4 years in college. I hated him so much. He followed me wherever I went. Living in a big and crowded city, it was not easy to detect him all the time, but his presence was towering over me all the time, though unlike Caroline, I could not kill him.
Not gonna lie. The husband was a straight up weenie and the wife was ruthless in this. Definitely caught me by surprise
No the wife needs to be put in the cushioned room herself.🤪
Lil late but for reals dude. Pissed me tf off. When he was cutting and pussed out from sparks and she took over I lost it. Not cuz she's a bad bitch, nah- just cuz he was that fuckin soyed out. Unacceptable haha
As a Pennsylvanian, knowing this story takes place in lehigh valley i can tell you about how creepy the place is at night. I've only been there once, traveling to a little party i was invited to in the middle of nowhere and here's all the things i passed as the sun went down and it got dark:
-MANY old cemeteries
-MANY old churches (most of which were probably not used anymore)
-random creepy farm fields
-no lights on the roads... like at all
-creepy woods
-winding roads
All within 20 minutes of eachother.. id never go back 😟 not at night at least
Born and raised in Bethlehem and it absolutely is creepy, but I loved that. Everyone leaves you alone because of it. I used to walk through cemeteries after midnight to smoke a joint and listen to music in peace. Cemeteries everywhere, lots of very old buildings from the 1700’s, etc.
I love the idea that there’s some people who would be mortified to do that and then there’s just you and the ghosts getting high.
@@KamiEneru I always stayed respectful and leave every place better than it was before I got there. I'm sure they didn't mind the company anyway lmao. When you're born and raised next to cemeteries, you get used to them... Though that isn't to say I never had one too many a puff and had to leave from paranoia haha. Cheers friend!

Only maybe 1 in 100 horror stories really scare me. This was one of the best. Phenomenal.

I'm a horror fanatic and very little actually scares me anymore, and the ones that do are the ones that aren't about anything supernatural/paranormal but instead stories that are about the depths of evil and depravity of humans
I can somewhat relate to this.
I had a stalker in high school, he was a year ahead of me and lived two houses down. The things he did were BEYOND creepy and to too it I'd I found out his mother was insane. I'm 57 now and through the years he has found me and left his calling card for me to find in the yard. He would sit somewhere on the ground watching the house while he sat there eating what looks like two whole bags of roasted peanuts from the looks of the pile of shells he leaves behind.. weird mess
Moved to Cleveland last week and everything that could have gone wrong during the move did...finally had a day off and I'm unpacking and getting stuff in order. Tried listening to other podcasts but they didn't alleviate the stress. As soon as I started listening to this, everything calmed down and my focus is back. I usually listen to you at work for the same soothing outcome.. Something about your voice and delivery does the trick. Thank you for getting me through this.

OMG - I’m sitting in my doctors surgery waiting to be seen, listening to this tale. I hope I don’t have my blood pressure checked. This was a brilliant piece of writing and excellent narration. I was just disappointed when it came to an end, I could have listened to it for hours. Thanks for this.

Oh wow, a stalker story! Oddly enough I had some acquaintances that were being stalked, I never realized how common it was. Definitely creepy with how plausible it is, good choice!

I'm so scared now I won't go downstairs to make food until my boyfriend gets out of the shower and goes with me. This story sounds like my house and me and my boyfriend almost to a T. I'm freaked out but I love these stories. No ghosts, goblins, made up creatures etc. Just a good story that could absolutely happen.

I've been binging lighthouse horror stories and have gone from the present videos to this one, posted 2 years ago. It must be close to 100 stories I've listened to so far. This one is my favorite so far. It's a solid horror story that holds your attention but that last 60 seconds. I love the end of this story. It's so brutal and strangely heartwarming.

I can't tell you just how much i appreciate you but i can tell you i needed a mental escape. Sometimes it seems when the dark clouds dark clouds start to roll in, you have days where you just can't ever really be ready for what that day will bring our what news you may wake to. Your style is honestly like I'm almost in the story adde like the quiet friends who is just there. I don't have to try and use my minds eye. Somehow i just hear the rain splash as a guys driving down the road, i can feel that feeling when you step on that board of the porch at the house you just had to check out and my favorite. The way a few times something's breathing down your neck and such I've had instances where the stupid blanket touched my back and had to elbow the recliner. Sorry, sometimes it's more than just a guy reading a story. Sometimes i get to capture a little flash of what it was like heading stories as a kid. That sense of wonder and amazement that gets you all the way to your bones. What you do is great, but how and what you do it with is special. Sorry i dragged on.

The wife knew that she couldn't let Micheal turn Greg in. If her stalker had been smart, he would have told his brother every incriminating detail about the couple.
Greg likely knows that Sarah killed that man on the side of the road when she was 16, and he probably knows where the man is buried too.
Sarah doesn't really have a choice her, but I understand why she would also be incredibly motivated by bloodlust and anger.
