I do like that he's very Bram Stoker with a touch of Hellsing Alucard viciousness. The only other vampire Creepypasta that was amazing IMO was the Quantum Vampire. A sequel would be awesome. Some of the monster hunter Creepypasta MCs should be in it as a crossover.

I really enjoyed this story, how it unfolded, and how it let a vampire be a vampire - EVIL - not some angst filled teen heart throb full of good intentions! Kudos to the author and of course thank you for sharing this story and bringing it to life with your talent.
It would actually make a lot more biological sense for vampires to be attractive than scary. Sorry it’s not all evil, & edgy lol but yeah it’d be much easier to an animal to be able to lure in their prey when their prey are humans, human beings are intelligent creatures, it makes total sense a natural predator of our’s would have to rely more on trickery, than brutality. I think twilight should’ve played on that, like imagine if Edward tricked Bella instead of falling for her. A horror angle would’ve been interesting as opposed to the… interesting love story that’s heavily influenced by Meyer’s Mormon roots lmao. That being said twilight was ONE series about vampires, & out of the thousands of stories twilight is the only ONE that portrays vampires as teenage lovers. But everyone acts like it’s some rare thing to write vampires as evil, that’s literally the most common narrative. You’re not edgy for enjoying that.
It's always funny to me that these writers act like anyone in this works wouldn't know what a vampire or zombie is and the common rules for them lol. I suppose it is their world though. Excellent narrating as always! You are by far the best I have heard!

I work at a doctor's office and we have no patients/providers on Fridays. My days are admin work, checking appointments, answering the occasional phone call, and verifying insurance for upcoming appointments, ect. I LOVE putting these stories on in the background while I work. I feel so productive as hours fly by without me even really noticing!! Lighthouse Horror is my all time favorite channel and I am so glad I found it. My first video was "I inherited my grandma's cabin and there is something inside it", I heard that story months ago and I still think about Matthew and Eric's story!!! Great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this reads like a side character in a vampire the masquerade story, some poor sap, discovering the world of darkness, but not being able to do anything about it, it's a good set up for a full series

Seriously though, I feel like people should diversify which human-like immortal monsters they use in stories, because it's becoming possible to figure out a story is about a vampire within the first minute very often.
Just saw this title and clicked it right away. I have lived within sight of the Hudson for all of my 43 years. Whether it be Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, Hyde Park, or Highland, I was always within minutes of the river. Never pulled any bodies out of it...lotta stripers in April/May during the herring run...but no dead woman.
Great writing. Incredibly narrated. I was hoping that at the end the P.I. was going to be SOOOOO FILLED W/ RAGE that he was going to run up to the vampire at the end of the 2nd head shot andcontinuously scoop his brains out with his hands faster than the wound could heal; or fake a head shot, shoot him in the heart and it actually worked. Though barring THOSE 2 AMAZING ending choices (too late now, huh?), you must serialize, at minimum a sequel... well done!

This detective appears to be modeled after an actual real-world detective. If so, why would he presume the antagonist is a genuine vampire?
In the walking dead universe zombies never actually existed, that’s why the walkers were such a threat to the survivors in the show
