Did you just leave the support strap, or did you use metal mounting hardware? I saw the nylon strap, but never saw the bracket being installed. Is it common to only use the strap?

Can there be a kit for single speed bikes. I have a fixed gear single speed, and use it for commute. This would be awesome for the coming new normal commuting.
