When we built the Jeep Wrangler JK for King of the Hammers, we had to build it following the 4500 class rules which meant 37" tires maximum! It works great on 37s, but why not make it so we can slap on some bigger tires for some fun wheeling weekends!

Engine hoist works great for separating tires. Drop the legs on the tire and hook to the center of the wheel and jack away. Works super awesome
Get a bead buster off of Amazon, best 150 you will ever spend
Set the wheel on it's side with the stem core removed. Spray the bead down with diluted dish washing soap & water.Drive over the tire, not the rim. Best bead buster i ever used + i didn't waste a buck fifty. Wyatt James, Hillbilly Engineering, Cucumber 🥒 WVa.
Lubrication! Water with dish soap and it can help with that coming off easier. Sprayed on the in on the bead area so that as you start peeling it lubricate the inside of the tire better and eventually it'll come off easier.
I always use my break rotor with the wheel and tire off and put the wheel tire under it and lower the jeep truck or what ever right on the inside 😊
I loved the beadlocks on the race jeep so I bought a set for my LJ. Thank god race line is having a sale on beadlocks rn

I’ve been considering a sundowner 9624 trailer.
With all of the vehicles you have a tire machine might be beneficial.
Ill buy some tires when you get more hand me downs lol. You know, thats one hell of a rig! You built that son of a bitch.
Although with that said, I had to fight some 40 inch tires the same way to get them off even with the lubrication. My girlfriend thought I was nuts, but I got it down on one wheel then decided to give up and take the rest to tire shop

Saw the Clayton decal on the race Jeep. Thinking about getting a Clayton suspension for my wife’s Gladiator. Are you running Clayton on any of your other Jeeps? What do you think about that suspension?

Cool video! With going through so many tires, do you have a recommendation for m/t's that are also daily driven on interstate? I was looking at Cooper Evolution m/t's and Geolander m/t's....both about the same price. Need something solid on road in heavy rain and smooth on interstate without being super noisy....and goid off-road. Any suggestions???
The Geolander G003s are a great choice, as well as Nitto trail grapplers
I've changed tires 2 times on beadlocks and absolutely hate it. remember jumping on one tire 6 times to get it on it is exhausting. I also used a ford f250 to remove the old tires nothing else we had was heavy enough. think my next set of wheels maybe the beadgrips from method or maybe the monsters from Hutchison just to avoid the hassle.

Anybody know if there is a such thing as a “kit jeep”? My dream is to build a TJ completely from parts - I imagine I have to find a decent frame and can start from there but can one buy a kit like you can some other cars?

Yes, they are budget friendly but personally i do like the Racelines more and how the threaded inserts are replaceable

With all those tires to swap around, why didn’t you just buy a tire changing station with a bead breaker? Harbor Freight is pretty cheap…

I like them. They worked well on the JKU, and for how aggressive they are they last a while.
I came for jeep stuff, i stayed for lulu lemon stuff....
I was thinking you might be better off using a little soapie water 💧 I that might make your life a little easier on mounting your tires and also maybe try it on the tire Beats I'm thinking could speed things a long faster.
What half doors are you using on the race jeep?
Bestop core doors. I think they are now discontinued though

They seemed to work pretty well! Its hard to say though because they only wheeling we have done with them was KOH and i dont have any other baseline with this rig.
