The little rocker switch on my Badland winch went bad on me just when I needed it most. It pops out of the housing easily, then I just disconnected the two wires from the faulty switch and jumpered them together which made the winch operable. I still haven’t gotten around to repair/replacing that damned rocker switch! LOL!
My badlands wireless don’t work out if the box. I called them and they ended up just sending me a new remote and the full wireless package. It works fine otherwise but just no direct wireless.
Just because the transmission is topped off in the shop, doesn't mean anything. You have to drive it. Around the block first. Top it off. Then, Run it the Jeep through EVERY gear. Top it off. Get all the bubbles out of every gear of the transmission. I have found the transmission can take as much as double my initial top off. And you can't put the fluid all in at one shot. There are bubbles in the cooler and every nook and cranny of the transmission that will eventually work it's way out and give you a lower fluid level reading; and, because you have that gallon, you can top it off easily. Basic Jeep stuff.
What radiator are you running in that JK? I live in Phoenix and my '14 JKU can't handle the 115F temperature when running hard. I'm considering a performance radiator. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to jeeping. I own a Subaru and a jeep. Wanna guess which one spends more time in the garage being fixed? If your not breaking things your not playing with it.
Its the Garmin Baja Tread Race Edition GPS unit, no "Radio" unit, but if your asking about actual Radio, im running the Rugged Radios Race M1 setup with intercom system
Still don’t regret going through that mud puddle😂😂
You look so much diffrent than when you were building the tons i thought i was on wrong channel
Nice shakedown and repair, very cool purpose built rig!
That rig looks like so much fun!
Good thing you caught that before the whole motor mount broke.

Nice work!
You have to buy the wireless adapter for the badlands winch it plugs in where the wire goes
Negative. This winch comes with wireless.
@@JKGearandGadgets oh good to know.. I have one and my wireless has never worked.. please lmk if you get it working
Just love watching Cassie and you
You better come to SMORR.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS keep a gallon of ATF +4 and a funnel in the Jeep. Especially when going offroad.

Hey, how have the Yokohama’s holding up? Been thinking about putting them on my rig but it is also my daily driver. Thoughts?
Damn that rig sounds good 🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸
Did you check the batteries? lol. I had the same problem with my winch. Both remotes I have had dead batteries in them.
Dude I haven't seen your videos in like two years. Where did the rest of you go?

They remove the tree that I hit at the top of the falls… lol
Legend has it that after 100s of Gladiators hit it, it finally fell…

Lite brites channels found a wired winch controller on their last video. Hahaha. Been to winrock latley?
Needs a quieter exhaust system., oh yeah, Race Car!
Would be nice to have 2 systems one for racing and one for fun.
I’ve never had any luck with harbor freight products. Can’t trust their winch
Can Cassie see over the hood of the race Jeep? Lol
Barely!! We plan to order a PRP booster bolster for her lol
