0:44 Saw someone ask which Ghostspectre build you tested, and this shows it was Superlite. However, nothing was said about which one(s) might have had Windows Defender removed. If some had Defender and some didn't, that would be important information to know at the onset of the video. Judging by "size on disk" being so small (compared to "Size"), it appears that Ghostspectre was installed using compression, causing it to lose the boot race. This should NEVER be done, except when installing on tablets with limited storage, as it makes a mess of the NTFS file system and increases CPU load. Ghostspectre also has a "reduced processes" mode (which should be default, IMHO, and would bring it into competition with the other two). The latency results were interesting--were all four systems running the "Balanced" power profile? If so, this needs to be further investigated to find out what exactly Atlas and Revi did to cause their improvement. Or perhaps they cheated by running High Performance, keeping the CPU at full speed all the time. Overall a good video. Please make note of these three points next time you do a video like this! Oh, how come the Ghostspectre Windows isn't activated but the others are?
Ghost Spectre was tested without Defender, and yes, it compresses the OS, making the size on disk much smaller. The power profile was set to auto, meaning Ghost Spectre uses its own. In contrast, Atlas and Revi were set to their own custom-made profiles.
@@IneffableBenchmarks Thank you for the details. Next time, please make sure NOT to select compressing the OS during Ghost Spectre installation; this is a highly nonstandard mode of installation included only for tablets with minimal built-in storage space. It makes a huge mess of the NTFS file system (lots of file fragments) and requires extra CPU cycles to decompress everything on the fly, thereby making it an unfair comparison when put side-by-side with other builds that aren't compressed. In another video, it appears that Windows X-Lite might have been installed the same way (judging by how much smaller its Windows folder is on disk compared to its actual size).
