    Yay! I've been hoping for a "way back garden" update! It's looking so nice as it slowing wakes up. I'm always inspired by the deer resistant shade garden plants you find for back there.

    Absolutely love that weeping cherry tree and the hellebores. The wildlife is so awesome. I live near the woods and creek and get additional unusual wildlife from that environment. Your garden tours really cheer me up. Thank you always. Happy Birthday!🦋🦋🦋

    I love it all. The random spacing & varieties of daffodils look like they just grew there naturally

    Always enjoy your garden tours. An answer to your question about what’s coming up in our gardens… My garden has very similar things coming up as in yours. I see daffodils, crocus, bleeding hearts are coming up in several places. Of course my hellebores are blooming beautifully. Those make me extremely happy because I just planted them last fall and I really didn’t expect to see too many blooms this year. I sowed lots of seeds inside for flowers that I’ll be planting out next month, so that brings me happiness too. You didn’t do any seed starting videos this year. Is that something you just not going to do anymore?

      I have had the weeping cherry for I would say 15 years so unfortunately I don't know, but a good nursery should have several choices and be able to help you pick what you want!

    Interesting, my Trevi Fountain pulmonaria has very deep periwinkle/cobalt blooms rather than sky blue. Regardless, they are all beautiful. I never met a lungwort I didn't love!

    My ninebark gets a fungus on the leaves starting two summers ago. I cannot seem to control it. Might just replace the ninebark.

    How large are your general garden areas in total? Do you have deer and rabbits in the area that are limited by your fences? Your property looks fairly large.

    • @Suburbanoasis
      @Suburbanoasis  2 місяці тому +1

      The deer come through the garden and rabbits and groundhogs, etc. It is about half an acre.

    Do you find that one/more hydrangeas don't leaf out or bloom for a couple of seasons? Wonder why?

    • @Suburbanoasis
      @Suburbanoasis  2 місяці тому +1

      If it is not leafing out in a few weeks, then it is probably dead. They can wait several seasons to bloom though.
