I just did the same thing this morning with the big root where I was planting. So happy to see you split the roots in the middle of your plant to go around the big root. That’s what I did. Love where you planted the grass and lavender looks Beautiful! 💐🪴
Hi, I always look out for blue plants, so restful. 😊 Thanks for the tip about plants in a plug. I am sure I have had plants die because of that.
What an absolutely gorgeous combination, Soleil! I miss my blue spruce because of the color and winter interest. It is so pretty with blue or pink flowers.
Great selection of plants for your beautiful garden.
Great selections going to look beautiful ❤❤❤
Haha, CHAD and I went shopping this morning and bought a Puffer Fish Panicle hydrangea and a Paraplu Pink Ink Rose of Sharon! We had a great time 😂
He is so fun to go shopping with!!!
It's a grey, rainy day here in Iowa, but it's a fun day to hit the local nursery! I came home with a giant dark pink lily and four bronze fennels for the swallowtails! Thanks, Soleil :D
Very nice of Chad to help you out too!!
I love your addition of lavender to the front corner area, they will be so pretty when they bloom. You've taught me to check for the plant plugs and I do find them sometimes. Glad to know I'm not the only one picking up new plants so often. There is a lovely local garden center just around the corner from my house and I'm often making trips over there during the week as a school teacher with extra time to garden in the summer.
Oh how I wish I had all day to putter about in the garden. Sounds like a lovely way to spend you summer off!
Hello! I love your channel. You explain things so well. Your gardens are looking great!

Nice choices😉 Haven't heard of catchfly, will have to look for some 🤩
Great addition to your lovely garden.
Good morning and I really enjoy your channel. How do you keep your hostas from burning? Mines are located in my backyard against my home, and they burned during the summer.
It sounds like you may have them either in too dry a location, too much sun, or a little bit of both...
Thanks Sunshine. 💐💚🙃
☀️ ☀️ ☀️
I love lavender and they smell so good. I have two varieties
So good!
Good morning Soleil, what's the name of the small barberry in this bed? Does it stay small? Will it turn green if not enough sun in my garden?
Boy, I got it a long time ago and it is a very small one, but the color does get lost when not in full sun.
@@Suburbanoasis okay, thanks!
