- 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Had this rattle since new. Turns out you just need to put in some rubber washers.
The Hillman Group 4328 5/8 ID x 2-1/4 OD x 1/8 in. Large Neoprene Washer

I used 2 of these washers per bolt.
have since put about 10k miles and its still quiet. - Розваги

Dude, you need to lead with the rubber washer fix. Appreciate the video and walk through. Almost closed out after and missed the end
essentially i want to remove the bed liner to weld some plate steel with all thread welded and stubbed up to be able to bolt down a job site tool box. make some cuts in the liner to expose the plates then replace the liner. will taking out those bed bolts and the four tie down anchors out allow the liner to be removed?
Hey man what do you think about only using one runner washer? My bed isn’t super loose? Did you have a big gap? Or you think two is better for long term? I’m just not trying to lift the bed haha
Umm you can try. They are thin and rubber so I just didn’t want to put 1, and then the bed still be rattling.
I put 2 and when you torque down the bed, it compresses them down. It won’t lift the bed. But you can try putting 1…torque it down, and see if that works. And if anything, come back and put another one.
I didn’t notice any bed lift. They are pretty skinny.
Forgot about this video and drove the truck today. So happy that it’s quiet. Just wish it had a little bit more power

I have a 250lb camper on the bed on my truck wish me luck trying to lift it up haha I’ll probably use a jack and maybe do one side at a time …

Lol maybe like 1/16 on a inch. The rubber washer is soft. So you compress it when you torque down the bed.
