Thank you so much! Now I understand recolor artwork much better. I can see your efforts to understand it by yourself and it's very kind of you to share this with all of us. Your voice is lovely and encouraging.
I was looking for a good tutorial for recoloring artwork and here I've found it! Thanks a million!
Mind blown, such a great tutorial! Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!! This tool will be a life changer!
Thank you! This video helped ten fold for something so overlooked and simple of just recoloring. Great lesson and kept me tuned in.
This video is very easy to follow and you have done a fabulous job of teaching! Thanks!
Love that you get right to the point, and the order of the information makes it easier to follow.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this amazing tutorial. This tool SAVED MY LIFE. I used it to change the color of flare and it worked perfectly well =)

Thank for the video. You have helped me better understand this concept. I will stay tuned for more.
This is one of the best tutorials I’ve seen !!! Brilliant
Great tips, excellent tutorial. So many hints and features explained in a succinct friendly way. Also, showing us how to use presets in the Recolor Artwork panel was particularly helpful . I could not find this (how to use Swatch set presets in Recolor Artwork panel) explained so well anywhere else online now in 2023. Showing what was happening with the options for Tints and Shades in recolour much appreciated had been baffled by this for ages. Wish I had found this video years sooner! Brilliant tips on how to speed up selecting and working with grouped colour swatches to effectively re-colour. Thank you very much indeed.
very good lesson!

But I could not edit the black. Even in Photoshop it's hard to edit a black picture.
If the picture is made of gray and black - how do you change the color of all of them together?
Very helpful. Thanks
Thanks for the comment, Heather!
I've always loved experimenting with this tool but I've always hated the non-intuitive interface. This tut helps, thanks

HI, for example I have lots for 1 solid color object and I want to randomly apply a swatch group, it is possible?
Hey! Thank you so much for your helpful video. :)
I have an art piece that has a watercolor look to it and it contains over 5,000 colors! I'm trying to recolor it based on a color palette with only 20 colors. So kind of like the last case you're describing in your video. Sadly, the smaller number of colors takes away the watercolor effect since the colors don't fade into each other as well anymore. Is there a way to fix it and make it replace all those 5,000 colors with shades of my color palette?
How to you see which part of the artwork you are editing without having to go to each colour and adjusting the controls?
Could you a portrait retouching like the saturday night live bumpers from the photographer mary ellen matthews?
good
Good Video
Thanks for watching, Ashish Gaikwad
So much nicer when there's a tutorial guy who's actually hunky.
I am having a BIG PROBLEM getting the recolor artwork tool to ADD a color. I am missing something. I can't get it to work. No tutorials for this anywhere.
have you tried making a swatch of the colour and adding it to the colour group you are using?
Can this be done for jpgs?
no, u need to trace them first
I've tried this. It does not work. I have two objects I need changed to BLACK for a screen print I need to do. THIS DOES NOT WORK!!! NOTHING I've tried works!
