Battlefield 1 Vs COD: Infinite Warfare was huge when it came to internet craze. I remember the major complaint for COD was that it was going to space when Battlefield remained "boots on the ground" with their WW1 era release. P.S. Battlefield 1 was in no way shallow in comparison to previous titles.
@@Cyb3rSnail still one of the greatest infantry warfare maps. That and Damavand Peak never returning is a travesty. Will never forgive DICE for the Damavand Peak-like bait in the 2042 trailer
what a fantastic retrospective. I remember everything so vividly like yesterday and sunk so many hours on both games, although i must say promo-wise BF3 had mw3 in their pocket... dice did a community driven gameplay reveal/unlock on facebook and the hype was real and to my knowledge it's the last time where two competitors/rivals delivered way beyond what was expected of them. P.S.: cod elite was utter trash and a waste of money
In my eyes BF3 was the champion back in 2011, although very slightly. The God awful campaign of BF3 comparing to MW3 was embarrassing and the reason why BF3 just wasn't about to cut it. Also MW3 had a lot more game modes and ended their story campaign pretty good. But I got to shoot it for BF3's push for innovation. Seriously playing it now, impresses me that this was a thing back in 2011! A lot of fps games still doesn't rival the amount of detail and effort that went into BF3, sometimes even the graphics. I wanted to see this trump over COD or be the new COD, but that never happened and I praised cod once again with MW 2019. The change that impresses people that its STILL using the same engine that COD has always ran, but it looks great, heck in some cases, better than more modern BF games. I doubt BF6 or whatever they call it, will bring back to said formula. But it would be sweet if the devs gave a crap once again.
battlefield 3 was the reason to build a new pc back in the day, cant believe how many hours i poured into that and 4
Call of duty vs Battlefield was an epic era

So many good memories with both these games
Both are just fun , the nostalgia was real when putting together this video haha
"MW2.5" "Felt like a DLC" lol they did not know they were about to be right 13 years later lol
They foresaw the prophecy lmfao

64 players has always been too much for most Battlefield maps.
