Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. Supposed to shake the judges hands, your competitors hand and then leave the forge. Not just, you lost, get outta here.
@@nobodyimportant69 He's talking about Will Willis the ex-presentator of the show. And he can't shake judges' hands because of the Covid 19, neither the winner did it for the same reason.
It kinda sucks that Will isn't hosting right now, but what I love about this show more than anything is the respect the competitors have for the judges, their opponents and their skill.
It would be interesting for these guys to use an actual 1905 Bayonet up against these forged ones. That way there would be a more definitive as well as equal answer.
@@alexferrana3979 if it didn’t bend then it’s very possible it would have been. The only thing I could see being a difference is the handle being a little smaller

Hello, First reply
Bayoneta used by JAPANESE cruel soldier throwing babies in the air then stab it... Many filipino babies died from their hands

BRING BACK WILL !!!!
Fun fact: It says the video was posted 5 days ago, but this comment was written 6 days ago.
When Doug said "pew pew pew" I gained hope in humanity.
Lol

I swear he's putting an extra "e" in "keel" every season.
According to my calculations, right now we're at level....
KEEEEEEEEL
nice one 😂
It’s Keal.

🤘🏻🤘🏻
7:46 the most enthusiastic, but matter-of-factually I’ve ever heard Doug say it will cut.
0:43 That’s not a 1903 Springfield that’s an M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine with a swinging bayonet.
lol
To those wondering where Wil is, he him and his wife had a son back in March, and so therefore has been focusing on helping take care of him.
Yeah people act like the change is bad .. support the show let will have his family time and he'll be back better than ever
Good reason. I may not really like the new guy, but I support Will’s choice and am happy for him.
He, him, and his wife? Wow didn’t know there’s two Wills 🤣
*BAYONETS!!!!!*
wow, i didnt think a celebrity would comment lol.
Go simping to Cleo...you don't deserve Joan of arc
Thankyou Mr. President
Didn't you die because of a gun?

Ok new guy, who's not Will, shake our hands, and please leave the forge.
But it Will keel.

Two great blades and two nice guys.

contestants: "i've never made anything this big before"
Doug just showed me so many ways to use a bayonet effectively

For the last one week,FIF videos are on the topmost recommended when I open UA-cam. I can relate 😂
I literally sleep better knowing Doug does work with law enforcement, military. Love every one of you who serve others ❤️
I like how they ask the contestants before every test if their are ready, or if they should do it, as if their was an alternative option. 😂
In the words of Conor McGregor, “ who f**k is that guy”
Facts dude is will coming back

Will is taking a break this season because he has a new kid. So this guy is only temporary.

No handshakes? What was this, filmed during a global pandemic?
You had me in the first half 😅
Yes it was but Brad and I shook hands after filming and had dinner together
This joke didn't age well.....
1:41 this man gets it.
Tight one. Well done to both!
Two beautifully crafted blades and great attitudes from both contestants.
My main plan is to forge the blade... hmmm interesting course of action
"Bold move let's see how it goes for him cotton."
I love how they have to make it look older than it is so the photos are basically deep fried.
That has to be one of the most satisfying keeelll tests of all time!
This is the show of man... Not much drama, even when they win or lose...
Well done! Enjoyed this one, I look forward to seeing more bayonet episodes

Forge in fire season 60
You will make the weapon of history
"gatling gun"
To be fair, a gunsmithing show in this vein would be pretty cool I think.
I actually have an original M1910 bayonet. Kind of cool I get to see a similar one being used in a test
3:42 damm that gave me a heart attack even tho im watching it from camera.but seriously camera dude your literally facing your death there

Forged in Fire is an awesome show.
There was no looser, just one bladesmith who won a little more than the other.
The Springfield m1903 30-06 is one of my favorite guns!
Same, such a classic.
Thats so sad without hand shaking
Brad and I did shake hands after filming and had dinner together Before we parted ways
Love from India ❤️❤️ 🇮🇳🇮🇳
You can tell this is during covid-19 time, no shaking hands no being chummy no being close
good cut
The thing is u know who's going to win everytime before they say the announcer looks at the other guy then says the other guy won😂
Dough be like covered in blood and starts talking like nothing happened
Bayonets weren't always meant to be sharp but they were meant to have a spring loaded catch that locks it to the bayonet lug.
One of the closest matches ever, I think. Both performed very similarly
I even think it could be a draw.

Don't break into this guy's house. He won't need a gun just a big knife. Nice and quiet. Like you never there at all.

Bayonets aren’t made to go through steel or to chop wood.
I agree but its just a torture test, it's designed to break a blade
nice cut
As long as it kills that’s all that matters on the battlefield

The American bayonet in use today has a serrated back IIRC
