Wow, 56 games/year! I genuinely underestimated how used I am to your company every week Thank you for your hard work and insights! Wishing much fortune and health to you and your familia in the coming year!
Its crazy you've 100%ed more games this year than there are weeks in a year. Massive props to you man, ur definitely one of the most dedicated reviewers i've seen.
I was surprised, that Mortim managed to pull this off including more than 500 hours in BG3 and churning out multiple quality videos about this wonderful gem during the same year. True dedication.
My personal favorite this year: The Talos Principle 2. A puzzle game with the best use of philosophical themes in a game since Disco Elysium. Great story, great really clever but never unfair puzzles.
I, like many others have limited time so i rely on a select few reviewers to guide me. You sir are definitely one of the best which is why i subscribed.
This has been one of the best years for games in a long time and we have all benefited from this exceptional year. Many great titles that sadly I can't play them all. Thank you game developers and have a great time playing them fellow gamers.
I just want to give Mortym a shoutout: I never would have found or played "Colony Ship" if not for his review and mentions in his videos. What a gem! I had such a blast with that game that I put down everything else and powered through that game for its story! I feel like it's really rare to play a game where you really feel every point you put into every skill, and every gear upgrade feels like a massive win! Fun story, great characters, cool premise... it combined a lot of elements from "Pandorum", "Fallout", and more, but ends up it's own thing. Total blast that put a smile on my face from start to finish, and I never would have found it except for this channel. Thanks Mortym!
I like how you're willing to talk about a game's positive qualities along with the bad. Most people seem to talk about games in one extreme or the other. It's very fair and makes you quite rational. Earned a follow.

I mean - a lot of UA-camr’s make them, but they don’t make ‘em like you do. Honestly one of my favorite things about the end of the year. Keep up the incredible content! Sorry this is late, but a very welcome Surprise and thanks for putting Aliens: Dark Descent in your top 5. It was always on my radar as a franchise fan, but I was iffy on it the game style...until I watched your 100%. And boy I'm glad I did. Got it, been playing it, and loving it, even though I feel like I shouldn't lol. Perfect style for an Aliens game. Thanks Mort!
Thank you for giving Starfield some genuine feedback, not just bashing it. I too very much enjoyed it, and sometimes we’re looking to entertained, not dissect what something isn’t and complain based on what “I” think it should be. Also great video 😎
@@CorporateShill66yeah i like the game but i feel this, i dont think the game would be in the good state that it is now if they didnt get absolutely trashed by everyone in the begining
Great list of games… I actually played Scars Above because you showcased it in another video and I thought it looked good. Really enjoyed that game! On to 2024
This is a great list. Taking out some of the older games and all of the various Soulslikes (I just always bounce off of these) this just about mirrors. My list of favorite games I played this year. A couple of these are still in my backlog, but I can’t imagine them being far off from where you put them. I’m so glad I found your channel this year. We have very similar taste in games and I trust your reviews more than any other source on the Internet. Happy holidays!
Got a bunch of new games added to my wishlist now, thank you for the list! Definitely going to check out some of the more detailed reviews for a few of these..
Thanks for all your videos this year! Don't know how I didn't find your channel in the past, but I've really enjoyed your perspective throughout 2023. I also think you have a nice voice.
Great list! Thanks for a superlative year of excellent reviews. Hope you and your son have a spectacular holiday break whatever you may celebrate. Can't wait to see what 2024 holds for the channel. I'm getting ready to battle the steampunk fire elemental guarding Grymforge for the fourth time, my first time on tactician. I can't wait to see the amended ending sequence! The clip of you in the masons guild in bg3 at the end is exactly where I am while listening to this video and playing at the same time. Had to do a double take what a glitch in the matrix

Thank you for your great work and videos. 2023 was great with games. If I made a ranking of best UA-cam gaming channels this year, I'd place you on #1!
