Having just purchased a Neewer Underwater Housing for my Sony a6000, I've been at a loss for how to remove and then lubricate the O ring. Need to find a dive shop to purchase a tube of O ring grease, but at least now I know how to remove it from the groove.
Do you take the o-ring off when not using the housing or keep it on the housing? I also use extra 45deg VF. Should I take it off when not using housing?

I recommend the grease that came with the housing. We do not sell Nikon cases, so I do not know if they use a specific type of grease or not, sorry!
