I built a warp prism. It sank into the swamp. I built another warp prism. That one too sank into the swamp. I built another warp prism. That one burned down, fell over, and sank into the swamp, but the fourth one stayed up!
Those were probably the most effective storms I've seen against Clem in a long while. Hero's placement was pretty much perfect. Props to Clem for managing to fight back after that and get back into the game.

Actually some KR youtuber interview Maru about TvP, Maru say the match-up is very favor for P, he was hoping Clem have a chance to fight "good" Protoss and show him how to beat Protoss. I guess Maru have nothing to learn...
Can somebody explain to me the idea behind the proxy gate that Hero puts down at 7.35? I understand the idea behind proxies in the early game, getting a unit to their base before it normally would, but this late in the game why not just build a proxy pylon for warp ins and build the gateway in your base?
Still surprises me after all these years even from someone like Hero that toss does not just feedback medivacs more, if he did in that first game its over so much quicker and he had a massive amount of banked gas with no storm researched. It is such a no brainer against Terran, no medivac energy no sustain on the bio army.

Talking about mirror match games, shouidn't just do the cheesy ones imo When I was playing a few years ago I'd absolutely use the mirror matches especially of the more standard players to improve myself It's a different type of cast but I don't think innately bad, even if its just a game to learn from once a week or so
I remember watching the game Live. Hero, except for the 2-0 loss vs. Serral, looked amazing during the tournament. In the round of 16 defeated Clem with one idea: never let the Terran build up Medivacs energy, the glue that keeps the MMM together. Without Medivacs constantly healing bio units, stim can work against them. In the first match we can see the no. 1 rank Protoss in the world struggling to blink micro + Disruptor micro. When he manages to blink + Nova shots, he loses the Colossus, because both Zealots and Colosi have dumb paths by default. It's so freakin hard to control the Protoss army with so many abilities. But Hero does what Hero does. He really looks amazing right now and so fun to watch. In the Quarterfinals he almost defeated Maru. He was looking so good in the decisive match, decided to transition to Carriers and the Protoss army just melted vs. Vikings. Clem is not your average Terran. I think he's the fastest Terran in the world. I think he's the most agressive as well, so that could be why worked so badly agaainst the most agressive Protoss in the world. TY for casting.
Haha its true there is an insane amount of anti-Terran bias from Protoss. They are all know-nothing noobs. aligulac shows balance has been very good for a long time.
seeing clem getting 0-3 by hero has singlehanedly been the worst waste of time I've ever done I hate him so much now, really angered me so much to this day, very pitiful for the "best" terran, threw the game so hard in fact

Good game. On the last game Clem mineral income was basically zero during last fight, that's why Clem lift SCV to Third to get some income.

Having a nexus or gateway next to a pylon increases the warp in speed massively
This SCV block the starport to land-_- and rally point is move command to starport
Hero just jumped up several tiers on my list after this

This match up shows how broken TvP. Terran plays at the edge of the knife cutting corners. And toss can play what ever he want and win from any tech.
