    So this is the 2023 Sony Bravia X90L LED TV. This is sony’s higher end, mid range tv that quite honestly does a lot of things very well. Now this is the 65” version, but it also comes in 55”, 75”, 85”, and 98”.
    Now from a design standpoint, this TV has very thin bezels, and along the sides we have a aluminum railing and we’ve also got a stainless steel chin… and this stainless steel is here to help make this tv look a little more premium than its predecessor.

    I've had this TV for several weeks and it is phenomenal. It handles low bit rate content extremely well. The speakers sound great. Dialogue is excellent. I don't think other tvs handle dialogue as well as a Sony. I think the remote needs softer buttons and back lighting. The Crunchyroll button is a nice button. My Playstation 5 looks like a brand new console on the X90L. I previously had a Sony 900f. I don't really have any complaints about the performance. I think it is the best choice for most people willing to spend $1000 on a QLED TV.

    Does it works with the Bose soundbar 600? I have the Bose 600 and I want to make sure it works with this TV. Because sometime some TV manufacturers had problems with connecting with Bose soundbars. I would appreciate it if you could check. Thnx

      I have mine in the living room that has lots of windows and the reflection is not that bad. Besides I just use vivid picture mode if the daytime light is too bright, problem solved.

      But is it worth it getting this over X90K for extra $400? I have an X90K still in the box that I bought from Best Buy several months back. Should I take it back and exchange it for the X90L for an additional $400? Because they’ll let me return it for store credit.

    • @user_es1
      @user_es1 9 місяців тому

      @@MarkTomeh I think you won’t have a better experience because it is only a year of difference. X90M next year should be taken into consideration compared to the X90K. The true rival of the 90 series are the 93/95 because of mini led panels. When your tv was on you won’t have another tv next to it to compare it, and that is what really matters.

      @@sricharanpusala2469 Ahh, that settles all the arguments then. Best of all. I can't go for that as it's around 1 lakh over the A80L in India. Hanging between 65" A80L and 75" X90L. Want OLED quality but big size jump over my current 50" also feels tempting.
      How you felt the jump was in terms of picture quality if you didn't had OLED earlier?? Was it worth the extra money??

    • @sricharanpusala2469
      @sricharanpusala2469 2 місяці тому

      @@PradeepKumar-jw6bk I personally found The bezels on the A80L bothersome for a 2023 TV-this is more noticeable on the smaller sizes IMO. I will agree that typically size is king in TVs. Another important question to ask is how sensitive are you to blooming. I personally am very sensitive to blooming. In a way I almost think the full-array led makes it worse than a TV without local dimming at all....varies by content ofc. 2024 sony tv's are supposed to get some next gen local dimming tech but ofc that's almost a year+ wait. The X90L was a FANTASTIC tv for the price point it was selling at. Def get the bigger TV especially if you don't have an OLED tv in your house yet. I also knew I would use my tv in the days occasionally so the A80L would not work for me. So it really was this sort of "Go big or go home situation". Also, see if you can buy the tv via Greentoe. I ended up buying 65" A95L on Greentoe for $2750.
      As far as experience now with an OLED: It's great. It's not $3000 great. I believe that cinema is an art form. It's a beautiful expression of theater and refined creativity. I really do. But let's be real...this is just for fun. Entertainement. We work jobs, have lives, and live experiences beyond the confines of a couch or bed watching a screen. I only went this route with the A95L because 1) I am very picky about the screens I enjoy and genuinely couldn't even get myself to enjoy the content I was trying to watch on the other TVs I tested because it was focused on that. (Now even with the A95L, there's a different set of issues that occasionally come up). AND 2) I happened to be able to finance this with 0%APY for 12 months with a new credit card I opened. Now, the real bummer is that the A95L still had a series of letdowns for me personally. Buggy software (Google TV or not... it's unacceptable on a $3000 screen), Buggy hardware (LED indicator doesn't ever shut off, or when it does it's random. And a fair bit of noticeable screen tearing or judder with poor motion handling (You won't see this because most content for TVs is this beautiful super slow-moving content that is not reflective of real-world use case scenarios. I noticed a sort of "scratchy-ness" in content in real-world use scenarios like via streaming platforms. The truth is the motion handling is okay, not great. I've tweaked the settings a lot to finally get to somewhere I am mostly happy with but still...it pinches that a TV that was the "BEST of 2023"...is just strange to come with these kinds of problems. Maybe I walked into this purchase thinking it was the BEST...but TV tech and software handling is just not the same as you may find in a Mac for example-it's filled with flaws. Now, overall picture quality and the AMAZING built-in sound system...I'm still happy. I was watching Salaar just yesterday on Netflix and lemme tell you...I was blown away by how deep and rich the darks were. Felt like I really was in a coal mine with the actors. But that isn't to say I still notice the hiccups it periodically has with fast shots, pans, deep contrast motion with bars etc. To be COMPLETELY honest...just buy the flagship Samsung OLED and hook it up to an Apple TV4k. If you are set on SONY, I hate saying just, but potentially wait if there is no rush. If you want a TV soon, but don't wanna replace it for a while, get the X90L or the X93L (I've used both, again both are strong and worth it in different scenarios. But the best value is clearly the X90L. I personally suggest passing on the A80L. You end up in this weird middle ground where you spend a lot of money but still crave more. Unless you are specifically looking for a large-screen cost-effective OLED, then yes, A80L is the best. Think about your visual preferences, use case scenarios, and type of content, size of room, and decide accordingly. My 2 cents: Go for that big X90L!!

      X95K . X90L is not mini led it’s a QLED n has blooming n Matte layer screen . X93L is mini led but has low Native contrast . So it has some weird visual soft looking 👀 but less blooming . X93L much much nicer in person . Higher color volume , less blooming , more crisp . Glossy , mini led
