Drove my RSV Mille with several days of HEAVY rain this summer. I was surprised it handled it very well! I upgraded my electrics though and had no trouble ever since. Also, neutral is also easy to find. Perhaps mine is one of the rare ones that makes a smooth ride.... Great video and may you have many enjoyable and safe miles on your RSV!
great video on the Haga not many on youtube worth watching fantastic bikes and a joy to ride , i had mine 4 years and loved it so much but silly me sold it ,i dont think i could ever replace it as prices are way up now and good to see them making good money. im on my 8th rsv now and im never selling my latest at 60 now its all the bike i`ll ever need 04reg gen 1 R and last of the gen 1`s . your slow starting was just the very same as my Haga but i fitted one of my mates upgraded cable kits made by John Walker and problem solved also i never had any problem riding it in wet weather or really bad heavy rain never had any problems with my haga ever it was just perfect im up in scotland so you`ll know what i mean about the rain lol . anyway fantastic video and great review on one of the best Aprilias ever made thank you so much . john aka Mr Aprilia :)
Thanks for the kind words. A great bike indeed! If you know, then you know 😉Very underrated and reasonably priced when I bought it, made me love the brand
Just bought a 2003 Mille R from my uncle today with 15k miles. Beautiful bike OZ wheels , ohlins forks and some nice carbon parts here and there and a few xtra stock parts and xtra panels. Mint bike. Can’t wait to ride it. Awesome review.
Great video dude! I ride my mille daily, its been just as reliable as my old honda vfr and one thing i have to disagree with is their reliability in the bad weather, maybe i have a lucky good one but i ride it in all weathers, hot, dry, cold, wet, icy, snowy, torrential downpores for hours on end, flooded roads, the wetness has never caused it an issue. Although its very well maintained so maybe that could be helping out too Anyway great video dude and safe rides 🤙🏼
Thank you, still learning. Need to work on and improve the audio a bit more for this year 👍 That seems to be a common theme in the comments of generally being fine in the rain A surprising comfortable ride for a daily! Safe riding ✊🏍️💨
I love it but it is very different to your jap inline 4’s Mine has been reliable but they are a 20+ year old bike now so who knows how it’s been looked after. I wouldn’t want to use it as a winter daily
I've got a 99 rsv mille, had it since 2000, has never given any trouble at all, just clicked over 91,000km today, still puts a smile on the dial every time I ride,I'm coming up 70 so it gives the old hips a bit of a hurry up ,still good for 500km days though with a few stops .
