Awesome videos you have there mate! It's drivers like you that make the day go a whole lot quicker, getting out and pairing up/sticking a couple on makes a massive difference. Great work 👍
Just started driving one of these Dennis eagle elites. The ones we have down in Brighton are Volvo based, but the doors and rear section look almost exactly the same. Also have 3 DAF LF units, two 13-tonners and on 15 tonner, all three are fantastic vehicles. We have a couple of rear steerers, which are a right pain to reverse especially in tight roads in town. Amazing work! stay safe and hope you still enjoy the job!
Hello friend thanks for the comment. I have always enjoyed driving Dafs and don't understand thr hate toward them. I have left this job a while ago now but I am pleased I kept this visual record as a means of entertainment and education.
great video again pal, thanks for filming, long rounds on fridays should be banned lol, i see there is separate food waste collections so that explains why you are getting more bins on per load!
Black Bins 2nd black bin "yellow top" for biological/clinical waste Paper sacks Cardboard sacks Green glass/cans boxes Sacks of plastics Food waste boxes Brown garden bins
Thank you for watching my guy. HGV 1 can't find decent money and you moving onto bins?!? Good heavens man Best of luck on your new start and keep us up to date my guy
@@wheelerd02 yeah I been a class 1 driver for 26 years and I'm near dartford and there's just no jobs unless you wanna do up to 12 to 15 hr days or tramping and have no life and the jobs I've seen pay as much as the carts
@@garynew3775 wow that is bad state of affairs. Whole days away and tramping is not for everyone I'll attest. Interesting you say the pay is similar, I imagine you're referring to private company trade waste collection. Surely no local authority bins can compete with Class 1 for wages?
Were looking at getting a skip truck with the Allison automatic that fitted like on your s, looks a good smooth box that makes job easier. Would you agree? Also he came to see the truck wash 🧼 can you do a video on on it and also 0-56 of wagon ?
Allison transmission is a smooth seamless shifting experience, a pleasure to use. Cannot vouch for their fuel consumption performance. I think I have a video where Allison offered a model that had fuel efficient shifting programmes. Not to say they cannot develop faults. Very popular in the US, plenty of videos about.
I can do more, it will be much the same fare as we walk the same field and turns everyday Down to the meter Due to low interest I thought no one enjoyed it Thank you

I was an agency worker and was placed wherever I was needed each day. I did D6 for 6 months, Flats for 6 months and D1 for about 2 months. Otherwise I was covering sickness and holidays. Indeed there were a few occasions where I was loading and running about behind the vehicle.
Am trying to see what's wrong with the bins being presented that you're writing it down? You are emptying the ones with the lids that don't shut (overfull) witch is against Edinburgh City's policy
Good team work 👍
Great video! The best drivers are those who get out the cab and help the loaders sometimes, you set a great example buddy 👍🏻

Are all bin trucks automatic geared or are they some where you have to change gear
All vehicles in our yard have automatic gearboxes
I whish to be there to help
Why do you never have the same crew ??

Extra waste, not out or 2 bins presented. Most crews here don't mind open lids
Oh wow I didn't know anyone would notice or mind extra bins. Mind you it makes sense with it being landfill stuff right enough
1st like on this one, whoop whoop 🥳
