Squidward invented jellyfishing, the very thing that led him to seek isolation from spongebob in the first place and time travel. crazy how deep these episodes are.
Wait, if 2000 year old squidward travel back to the present time of Bikini Bottom, so that meant The REAL SQUIDWARD IS STILL IN THE KRUSTY KRAB FREEZER!!!
No, Squidward traveled back to the point before he went to the Freezer, but even if that's the case the Squidward of that timeline disappeared and was replaced by the Squidward we knew, and all other characters Spongebob , Patrick and all are from a new timeline, I guess the original timeline died with Squidward using the time machine after 2000 years in the freezer.
BONUS THEORY!! what if instead of actually returning to the world of the living at the end, squidward was instead thrown back into his own mind as a punishment for rejecting his eternity. reliving memories and fabricating new ones to torment squidward for an eternity. explaining all the episodes where squidward gets unnecessarily tortured and tormented like in good neighbour club.
Sort of something like the jetsons/flintstones theory? The way I've heard it, the theory goes that the jetsons and the flintstones actually are living in the same timeline and in the same time frame, but are living separately. The theory also puts out the question of that you never see the earth (such as the jetsons) and the sky (such as with the flintstones), possibly further proving the idea. Or are you thinking of the idea of the Aladdin movie theory? Basically says that the timeline of Aladdin actually takes place in the far future, Hinted with some of the cultural references that the genie makes. The reason why we never see advanced technology in Aladdin is because it sort of goes back to the spongebob atoll radiation theory where there was a war and such and it plunged humanity back.

I think in this episode when squidward goes to nowhere he isn't really dead but nor is he alive. I think he was both since he managed to find a way back to the mortal realm. Also I believe squidward's clarinet was a symbol of how you can have your prized possession with you but it still cannot satisfy your well-being to a full extent.
As to the incident about squidward suddenly doing crunches and chanting future, I happen to have a personal experience that's oddly similar: when I was in Junior High I played flag football and at practice one day I passed out to dehydration and heat stroke. The weird thing was, while I was passed out (I of course don't remember this part, this is just what everyone says who was there) I randomly started doing sit-ups which are basically crunches. I wasn't chanting anything, but it does seem weird how similar it is.

So very interesting story about this episode . When l was a child l had been watching this episode and couldn't to stop laughing especially when Squidward was freezed 😂😂😂😂😂🤣
I might be late but if you think about it squidward is the reason everything in the future happens. He showed SpongeBob and Patrick how to catch jellyfish which means everything that happened after that was because squidward decided to show them. He is the reason SpongeBob and Patrick are the way they are. Everything after that was just a domino effect due to squidward being nice to sponge and pat. Since this episode is cannon I think everything that was shown actually did happen it’s just that squidward went back in time and created a loop where he is the one who caused everything in life to happen whether it’s to him or the rest of bikini bottom
wait.... there was no future squidward so does that means that squidward dies as a whole and does not have a future robotic self and there is no squidward in any of the timeline he goes through
That doesn't debunk the Bikini Atoll theory. Squidward goes back in time, its safe to say he went back before the experoments even happened. In the past version of bikini bottom, there is vegetation everywhere, the landscape is way different. The nukes could have leveled the seabed and destroyed all foliage easily. Modern Bikini bottom is rather flat and barren after all.
Well, canonically the Bikini Bottom version of Hell is Davy Jone's Locker. they confirm this in the series that Bikini Bottom has a Hell and it is called Davy Jones' Locker.
i think this episode is actually just a dream because it's not make any sense how people not seeing him 2000 years and was looking from the window i think this episode is just squidward nightmare if he stay forever in the freezer
i think it was just supposed to be a star trek parody. i just watched the episode where they get sent to a dimension where their thoughts become reality.
One major plot hole in this episode is that no one bothered to find squidward the next day when the restaurant opened. Since the freezer is where they keep most of the kitchen ingredients, you’d think spongebob would run into a frozen squidward there while getting frozen Patties to cook.
2:28 the number 129 stands for Season 1, Episode 29. They did another episode in 2024 similar to this titled ‘PL-1413’; PL meaning Plankton, Season 14, Episode 13.
Theory about primative SpongeBob and Patrick proving bikini atoll wrong: it could be that the time machine was designed differently to most other time machines in media, it could be designed to go to another timeline where SpongeBob and Patrick are evolved before bikini atoll. This could have happened as squidward didn't know how to use it. Bonus theory: The time machine could have been a recent invention in 4017, so, squidward could have had deadly side effects from the time machine. So, he could have died between the transition from the past and nowhere, relating to the theory that nowhere is purgatory.
Little add-on theory to the nuke theory: Maybe they always talked and stuff, and maybe the nukes' chemicals messed with the chemicals and stuff in the fishs' brains. Just a little theory, but it isn't just a theory! It is a film theory!
Episode fact: When Squidward leaves the freezer, there is a calendar that says ''4th of march 4017 a.d'' which could imply that Squidward was stuck the in the freezer since 2017
Funny show I thought about this episode recently. I have my own theory. Squidward represents ur typical adult. Hates everything, very negative, annoyed easily. And he’s constantly trying to avoid SpongeBob and Patrick. As the law attraction would have it u attract what u consistently think of. So SpongeBob and Patrick are always popping up. As humans were always thinking about things we don’t want. We also waste so much time day dreaming about the past and the future and never really live in the present. When squidward finds himself in the future and does crunches, this reminds me of a seizure. And it’s that sensory feedback of him on the floor that facilitates proprioception to understand where his body is in space. He freaks out still and breaks the elevator. In this world we are born and we die ALONE. Once he realizes he can rest in peace. He realizes this is not really what he wants and is able to get back to the present where he is grateful when he sees SpongeBob and Patrick and is back in the present that he took for granted. His clarinet could’ve just been a symbol of him holding on to a grip of reality and his life. Idk that was my take on this 🤷♀️

In two hours?! Oh well I guess I I’m gonna watch a movie while I wait maybe even two....
Squidward should have trained while he was in that white void. He would have ascended past his base level if he only trained
Since this episode is cannon I think everything that was shown actually did happen it’s just that squidward went back in time and created a loop where he is the one who caused everything in life to happen whether it’s to him or the rest of bikini bottom
wait.... there was no future squidward so does that means that squidward dies as a whole and does not have a future robotic self and there is no squidward in any of the timeline he goes through
I just LOVE how classically absurd the Alone Group/scene is.
Well, canonically the Bikini Bottom version of Hell is Davy Jone's Locker. they confirm this in the series that Bikini Bottom has a Hell and it is called Davy Jones' Locker.
isn't Davy Jones' Locker supposed to be Bikini Bottom's version of hell?!
I would think so
yeah, but purgatory and hell are different things
i think this episode is actually just a dream because it's not make any sense how people not seeing him 2000 years and was looking from the window i think this episode is just squidward nightmare if he stay forever in the freezer
Makes sense, and it'd explain why the title card was different
very good theory made me almost shiver at the thought
Such good content dude keep it up.
Thanks, will do!
Squidward in clarinetland is by far the weirdest episode in my opinion.
The End of Stonehenge is spooky
i think it was just supposed to be a star trek parody. i just watched the episode where they get sent to a dimension where their thoughts become reality.
10:01 Squid-ward lifted his spirit
Next time I'm in distress I'm going to do crunches and say "future"
I didn’t think it was scary nor creepy. I thought it was a cool episode 😅😭
SB-129 used to be my favorite episode ngl
7:38 "He plays his clarinet, and the primitives chase after him." That's one hell of a sentence lmao.
It’s called SB 129 because it’s the 29th episode of the first season. It has nothing to do with angel numbers lmao
but its the only episode with its production code, i think its a coincidence
This technically means that Squidward is from the future…
6:48 there is a calendar with the date march 6th 4017 and some uknown letters
Oh I’ve been waiting for a new video! Let’s get traumatized.
We sea stars also grow new bodies, hiya!! 🤣 lol such a homer Simpson moment
I think all Squidward had to say is "I miss Spongebob." and then he was back in the Present.
The writers were definitely high writing this
This episode is also the origin of the Spongegar meme
This was the best theory yet
you know it
One major plot hole in this episode is that no one bothered to find squidward the next day when the restaurant opened. Since the freezer is where they keep most of the kitchen ingredients, you’d think spongebob would run into a frozen squidward there while getting frozen Patties to cook.
I think it may be plausible that 129 means just a futuristic number in this sence
2:28 the number 129 stands for Season 1, Episode 29. They did another episode in 2024 similar to this titled ‘PL-1413’; PL meaning Plankton, Season 14, Episode 13.
"2,000 years later"
Has frozen Squidward Tentacles feeling so cold freezer the door!
"SB-129" Full episode series that without along day
bro had the perfect opportunity to use the song Purgatori for the purgatory phase
I will make sure to watch it
02:09 I think it was supposed to be a robotic voice
02:25 Again, continuing with the space and robot theme it’s supposed to sound like a robot name
I agree that Squidward froze to death and entered purgatory. The clarinet either represents his soul, or it's simply his one worldly possession
Little add-on theory to the nuke theory:
Maybe they always talked and stuff, and maybe the nukes' chemicals messed with the chemicals and stuff in the fishs' brains.
Just a little theory, but it isn't just a theory! It is a film theory!
And this is your best theory yet
Episode fact: When Squidward leaves the freezer, there is a calendar that says ''4th of march 4017 a.d'' which could imply that Squidward was stuck the in the freezer since 2017
3:46 so both characters work at the krusty crab , yet SpongeBob doesn't go into the freaking freeze ever ?!
Spread the gospel!!
Idk that was my take on this 🤷♀️
In the background(nowhere) , there is a pink panel and a yellow panel, both on the ceiling. They are meant to resemble SpongeBob and Patrick.
We can't go to hell because we are all already there
Cute. If you tgink anything on earth would com near hell, than you must be an agnostic who doesn't know anything about hell.
@@k.r.99 earth is a metaphorical hell because we are slaves to the government and evil extraterrestrials, but no worries, soon heaven shall be restored on earth, trust me
I mean why wouldn't the radiation later influence their intelligence pass the primal stage?
What I mean is, yeah, we have the prehistoric characters, but they had primitive tools which is unimpressive.
But what if radiation aided their development further?
