Agreed! Best hulk game hands down. Probably one of the best superhero games that truly embodies the character.
I love this game. I still have it along with a PS2 and dig them out every now and again for a play. The weaponisation of vehicles such as cars, vans, tanks, missile launchers and the always fun wrecking ball was a fantastic inclusion in the game. The Critical Mass slams were so great 😊.
Original Hulk was Grey. Changed to Green because Grey didn't show up well in print. Glad you found this game. I was 28 when I played. I am 49now. I love when you kids discover what us oldheads have always known.

I think I recall hearing that the original Prototype (the game) was built using this engine.
I almost get the feeling it was a case of someone messing around and swapping Hulk’s model with Banner’s model for gameplay, and then ideas formed.
The original color for Hulk was grey. We deserve a next gen single player Hulk game.

Yo, do the full series! This game was absolutely 🔥 as a kid, I still own my original game disc from all those years ago, but I need to buy new parts for my PS2 to re-live the glory days. I highly recommend doing the full series, because it gets crazier as it goes! May I say, punt kick and that continuous punch combo?
Hulk was originally grey indeed! It's funny how this game had devil hulk in it but I didn't fully comprehend that it was already a comic concept until several years later! the designs and combat are just so superb!

The Hulk’s original color was grey. But due to printing issues they made him Green. They made in universe explanation that Bruce had MPD which is why he changes into different Hulks from time to time.

Once you unlock all the different moves and abilities the game becomes even more fun. And it has fun little cheat codes to change your skin and things like that. The boss battles are also really good.

Neil McDonough has also played Dum Dum Dugan in the MCU, and Damien Dahrk in the Arrowverse.
Also, Emil Blonsky is voiced by Ron Perlman, AKA Hellboy and Slade from Teen Titans.

I'd have to agree. Once you finish the game, you can play through again with all powerups. Smashing, destruction boner activated every time.
I LOVED this game. Like if I could have any game made remade as modern, it would be this one. But they'd mess up the game play
Fun fact: the sound team for Hulk Ultimate Destruction spent months in a junkyard smashing cars and breaking things to get the sounds right for the game for when Hulk smashes stuff.

That was Joe fixit(the weakest Hulk), also that Spider-Man was amped by the Uni power.

I was 18 when this game came out, and I remember playing the mess out the demo. I hadn't really noticed his character much before this. But this game definitely started my interest, and lead me to the rabbit hole when it came to the Incredible Hulk.
The voice actor was Neal McDonough who voiced Bruce in the 90s TV cartoon.
I remember playing this game on the ps2 at my local Walmart before it came out.
The best Hulk game was playing through the marvel online game as Hulk; it was incredibly satisfying.

Ultimate Destruction was so fun back in the day. And it was grey, he used to only come out at night until he was reshuffled because he wasn't selling. Also the green color came from a printing error originally and they liked it and ran with it

Everyone should know the hulk started off Gray in the comics. And only became hulk after Dark. However I’m not sure if the hulk was intentionally supposed to be grey or not.
I never knew, up until most recently, that this game existed too. I only knew about 2003 Hulk game and 2008 Incredible Hulk game and that's it. But when i found out about this game and watched it on UA-cam few years ago, it blew my mind. And later, i ran it on GameCube emulator and... i enjoyed it. I never beat it tho. Cause, later this game is very damn hard. But, after unlocking some new moves and stuff in this game, running around open world, despite it been empty, was actually fun. Wish this game was on PC too, so that i don't have to use emulator. Or, that they would give this game a remastered version for all of the modern platforms. Or just re release it on all platform. I would play it 100%.

I remember this game. I had it back when I was in college. This game was fun but challenging. Its not easy and gets harder as you play through the story. You get better abilities as you play too. I don't think I saved this game. I should have kept it. I might pick it up if I can get a hard copy.

I think the 2003 Hulk game was the best story wise. This game was just fun gameplay wise
.g favorite thing to do in the game was to grab a person run up to the tallest building I could find, then jump as high as I could once I got up there and launched people out into space lol.
They did what they could with what was available at the time but there is barely any destruction in the game I believe were due for another one where a fully destructible environment would fit the hulk a lot better.
