Those lights on the ecu confuse a lot of people. I’d put that back in the same spot you had the other ecu. If you have issues then check the lights, but honestly, don’t worry too much about the lights. Nice job!

I’m sure the touchscreen can show you the trouble lights so you really don’t need to make them visible on the ECU. Just mount it concealed but accessible.

Check out the tinker electronics dash.. it plugs right into the Holley can connector.. you can’t tune from the dash like the Holley pro dashes but I have both and I like the Tinker way better.. and the Tinker is 500 bucks and the Holley is 1400 to 1500 bucks
Ie u get a heat radar or whatever its callwd u can find the location of the circuit thats live not like any of us wanna do that,becauae its to much work😂
Ls are known for being finaky with grounding fam .. I recommend a big 3 upgrade .. 1 to each head and 1 to the block .. but man, bro , love, were ya going with this (personally, I hope for turbos, but your truck is not mine, lol ).. but the Holly is gonna make such a big difference for ya , we're it's way easier to navigate and tune than hp will ever be lol (personally, I'm familiar with tuner studios myself).. Holley most likey wont fix the alternator issue. It sounds like you have a diode stuck open. I just went thru this on my foxbody. I have a video on my channel.
It didn't necessarily fix it but I wired it correctly.. it just simply needed ignition power. Whatever it was hooked up to before it was getting constant.

You do not have to pull the heads to change the cam you just gotta use 5/16 rod and it holds the lifters up while you pull the cam out
