so fun to know you experienced a bath like that, I think it's common in Southeast Asia to only use batya and tabo (that's what we call it here in the Philippines) because it uses less water and it's a luxury to some to have a shower in their home. Also thanks for the tour of the place, I would love to visit Thailand in the future and visit the elephants!

Looks like a really incredible experience! The most wholesome part was seeing so many happy elephants and dogs! Just in case you don't already know, Thailand is not free from rabies. So it's important to be careful around dogs, cats, horses etc, and get vaccines if you ever get bitten/scratched by them.

Loving the series and following you around!! Just a small thing to add about elephants being ridden. Of course I agree there are so many places that elephants are exploited for tourist culture, however there are also many places that they are taken care of sustainably but are also ridden by their caretakers, because these elephants have known companionship and they value that elephant-caretaker bond immensely. Only the caretakers can ride them and that helps them survive by providing love and comfort like a parent. I know some local conservationists personally who vouch for this practise, although of course there’s a chance it isn’t followed to the T by people who don’t know better. All the best for your journey and can’t wait to see more!! 😊

What a video! I love how close you can get to elephants!!!! My gosh! At one point I really thought those sticks were to 'teach' elephants, or you know, beat them to obey or something like that, and I got so angry, but then I figured it was just for support for walking. And that cat! My gosh! So cute, with such a personality! haha. It all seems magical! I wish I could go there one day, and experience all that you have, and more. :) 💚😍🐘🐕🐈

Also adding to this, I just want you to know, that most people in India, bathe like that. Although, NOT EXACTLY like that. I mean, we have buckets to store water, under a taps of both hot and cold water (however one pleases), and instead of what seemed to be very heavy and broad mini bucket kind of thing, we have small mugs. With the help of these mugs, we bathe ourselves. Also, we do have showers installed along with this, so it's not like this is the only option available, haha. This was just an FYI. Obviously, people from different parts of the world have different ways of doing stuff. 😄

From what I remember when I went to Thailand there was not much dairy…and it was a mission to find a British cup of tea for when I was feeling a bit homesick. So vegetarian options were basically vegan

@@HollyGabrielle hi, south east asian here. Vegan milk doesnt come by easily let alone real milk because the cattle here isnt like that of western countries but condensed milk is typically made of palm oil (not exactly vegan if youre against palm farming eheh) but its technically plant based if you want to put it in your tea. Also thai milk tea is very good 😌✌️ have fun Holly
