Early Morning Fishing on Eagle Lake

We head out early morning to eagle lake Alberta after walleye and northern pike. On arrival we find the lake level very low and have some difficulty launching the boat but manage to get it on the lake. In a few short hours we hook a number of walleye and one northern pike.

A nice outing. Good to get out before it gets too hot. The water was like glass. A bit muddy to launch the boat , no doubt. Good mid-size light biters. A few spit at the boat. Stay cool.

Surprised the fishing was that good. Eagle is usually a cesspool by this time of summer 😂

@@chris_2714 I went there today to have a look after I caught some river trout and it’s starting to get pretty bad smelling lol
